Factors like your category (General, OBC, SC/ST), and the specific college you're targeting will influence your chances.
Good Score:
A score of 500-600 is generally considered decent for admission to medical colleges.
SMC Jaipur:
Sawai Man Singh Medical College (SMC) is a prestigious medical college in Jaipur, so it will likely have a higher cutoff.
Category Matters:
Your NEET score and category will determine your rank in the merit list, which affects your eligibility for specific colleges.
Rajasthan Cutoff:
Rajasthan has its own cutoff scores for different categories and colleges. These scores can vary from year to year, so it's essential to check the previous year's cutoffs to get an idea of the expected range for your category.
Private Colleges:
If you are unable to get into a government medical college, consider private medical colleges, which may have lower cutoffs.
To determine your chances, you should:
1. Check previous year's Rajasthan cutoffs:
Research the NEET cutoff scores for SMC and other Rajasthan medical colleges from previous years, especially for your specific category.
2. Consider your category:
Your category (General, OBC, SC/ST) will significantly affect your ranking and cutoff scores.
3. Explore private colleges:
If you are unable to get into a government college, investigate private medical colleges in Rajasthan and their respective cutoffs.
hope it helps!!
Hello,
Earlier PCM( physics, chemistry, math ) combination course was most demanded. However , SMC ( statistics, math and computer science) and physics, maths , geology also trend ,but does not mean the earlier course lost its relevance. Moreover, one must choose the course as per his/her interest so that the burden reduces and can obtain good mark with good careers.
Hello aspirant,
Congrats on getting AIR 8947 that's a great rank. Talking about the college you have asked about can be put into preference as follow according to your requirement of the question-:
Personally I want to tell you you have great marks should try to get MBBS in North only because you will be facing language barrier. During and after your MBBS you have to interact and treat local and non-local patients so you have to learn new language and climate, food and many more aspect needs to be considered before choosing your college.
