College infrastructure is not that good, all the sports equipment are not available. There is no sports ground. College facilities are average. Classrooms furniture has turned old and broken. There is no hostel.
I'm studying Bcom, teaching quality is excellent. Bcom Faculty is quite good and supportive. Our curriculum is up to date. I dont have idea about other courses faculty member but I'm satisfied with my faculty members.
Placements are average for Bcom students. Approximately 150 students apply for the jobs and 20% of them gets placement. Big Four comes into the campus. Many Companies with Marketing and sales profile also comes into the campus.
Complete Course cost is approx 22k which is very low as compared to any other university. Per year it costs around 7k . One gets a graduation degree from DU in just 22k with a lot of exploration and experiences. That really worth it.
College campus is good. There is a healthy environment. Though campus is small but is a lot more to explore nearby. Students gets engaged into different societies ,some gets into student union. College is located in South delhi, and this is the best part about the college.
College has all the necessary infrastructure which is fine, facilities in College is really good. Classrooms are fine and well maintained, libraries are really nice and also well maintained. Overall the college is clean and nature friendly.
I'm pursuing BSc. Life sciences. Teachers are really nice, supportive and friendly. Quality of teaching is very good. Curriculum is well updated and also includes all the recent developments in the field.
Placement is quite good. Our college offers approximately 80% assured placements, but the salary package offered is average. Average salary offered is 12,000 to 18,000. Process of placement is really easy and convenient.
I'm pursuing BSc. Life sciences which cost less than 10,000/year. Of course the cost is reasonable and worth it.
Overall College is good.
College infrastructure is below average to be very honest, it has 2 buildings one is a new one which is better than the old one. I think its one of the oldest DU college, that could the reason. but yeah studies matters the most in which the College is apt.
I am currently studying bachelor in commerce Academics are pretty solid and teachers are very supportive and engaging so i like the overall studying experience. Study wise it is a really nice college, you won't be disappointed.
I did get notifications about internships through college groups. I think the highest salary package is between 2-3 lakhs per anum which is pretty average. I haven't done any internships but my friend got a placement and her package is I think 2-2.5 lakhs per anum.
My course which is bachelor's in commerce is pretty feasible with an admission cost under 7k at max.. if you ask me it is very cheap for a good Delhi University college, so yes i do think it is value for money.
Well it is DU in the end, with wide varieties of societies, and some of the societies like MOKSH AND CRUNK are one of the tops in entire DU. It has very good and safe location near MALVIYA NAGAR METRO STATION and south Delhi Police station.
If you are considering this college just keep one thing in mind that the college overall is pretty average but the societies are pretty amazing like dance society- CRUNK and acting and theater society- MOKSH, and yes people take admission in this college for the sole purpose of being a part of these societies, so keep that in mind ..
I would not say, that our college infrastructure was that good. As our classrooms were in a really bad condition. There was a really big liberary though and very comfortable AC room, to study liberary books. Our college building needs a really strict maintainance. The food in our canteen were so delicious and most of the time the food was not available, because of more demand and purchase by students. Alao if any event would happen of any course, then the provided us ₹20 or ₹30 token, for food.
I was studying hindi hons. as it was not i wanted! But the teaching here is so good, the teachers are so punctual and good. Though the teaching is all just normal, no technologies, but the science students were given more and more facilies, as compared to that of us! Our college needs develpments. I am not job ready yet!
The placement facility is may be there, but not to all students or not even for one student. It is such a shame though. I have not heard till now, of students getting placement from our college. There is 0 placement facility acvording to me.
It is ok... Per year they take 6k and 500-600 per semester. Not worth it!
There are so bad things happening all around always, as during elections and even after that, the fight between students from each party, made our college study environment more worst. There were police cases, and students getting hospitalized. In activity, students can join different society as per there interest and teachers and students support in this is very good. The location of our college is soo good, as it is located near main malviya Market and hauz khas, i.e, in South Delhi.
Overall, if your main focus is to study and gain your knowledge in the field of your interest, then you can definetely join this college.
My college infrastructure is average not so good and not so bad. Our college building looks like an old govt. School building. But we have all the major equipments required for standard living. We have computer labs to study practical subjects and a good hygenic canteen where we get the food of our taste.
In academics I consider my college among top colleges. Our teachers doesn't did spoon feeding to us they practically taught us the concept and how to apply them while writing and in real life also. O think aur curriculum is well prepared and it contains all the major and minor things which enhace the knowledge of a student
In detail I didn't know about aur college placements because in 2020 we have attend our classes online so I didn't know about placements but our seniors said that in 2019 the highest package for b.com was ₹ 35000 .
My course b.com fees is ₹ 7000 per year. Yes definitely my money get worth for this course. Because our college provide us all the major and minor facilities which were mandatory for students in this amount.
Our college life was amazing as we have lotnof societies which engage our time and our dance crunk is no. 1 in DU and our teacher's and other staff is very good and our college was just 500 m away from malviya nagar metro station.
My college has every infrastructure which is needed by the students. Building is nice and all classrooms and laboratories are well maintained. Every day the workers over there keep the campus clean and it's hygienic. The food is awesome here and proper sanitation of everything is done. No hostel facility.
I'm doing B.com hons. and I'm the first year student . The faculty of my subject are very knowledgeable and very caring in nature. They make every point of every student very clear. Our college is well updated with all the recentt activities that are taking place and keep us also well informed and engaged in it
Our college have placement cell which keeps us informing about the ongoing internships and gives us the exposure. Companies like Amazon, Enactus etc. comes here to offer the jobs. Last year about 70%-80% students got placed.
This college provides reasonable fees for the students as per year charge is around ₹7000 which is cheap though. And yeah the this college has value for money. The education which is given here has the money's worth.
Campus Life is best. The crowd is also nice . People comes from different cities . College provides great opportunity to explore ourselves. Have many societies which are engage in all the extra curricular activities. The location is safe as it is in South campus.
Overall the college is one of the best college to do b.com hons. especially. All faculties are good. College has wifi facility also.
The college infrastructure is not that good. Though it has necessary labs like computer labs, physics lab, chemistry labs etc but the place is very congested. There is no playground for students where they can play sports in their free time. All you can do their is study in classrooms and library or sit in the parking or small ground between the building. The canteen is getting better year by year, so it's a good point.
Currently I am studying B.com right now. Faculty of commerce is very good, teachers are very helpful and of kind nature. You can talk to anyone anytime. The curriculum is always updated. There is a commerce society where you can develop your skills which help you to get ready for the future.
There is a placement cell in the college which provides various opportunities of internships and jobs time to time. College faculties help students to give a better interview in the placements. Average salary offered is ₹500000 p.a.
Fees of B.com course is around 7000 per year, which is very low as compared to private colleges. This is the best advantage of this college. Other than this your cost will be on transport if you are using metro. If you live in Delhi then DTC buses will help you to cut off your daily expenses.
Campus life is neither so good nor too bad. Due to infrastructure there will be a little disappointment otherwise it's good. The college's nearest metro station is Malvya Nagar which is in between Saket and Hauz Khas. These are the best places in Delhi where you can hangout with your friends anytime.
If you have a other options in south and north campus, then I would recommend you to choose that college. And if you have left only this college in south campus and in east and west campus colleges of DU, then I would recommend you to take admission in this college.
It was a dificult in the college regarding infrastructure because the area is very small of the college. classrooms were good and had teaching equipment and wifi also. it was clean around the college. food was hygienic.
I was pursuing B.com (P) and I has interest in commerce since my 12 standard. Teachers and their equipments were very helpful in studying. Many developments were done by the leaders and they made is successful .
Placements quality was good. The interview process was difficult because of lots of academic questions. They were offering a good salary and package. It was around 5.5 lac annually. This was good and collefe supported for this.
Infrastructure is not that good. The building is quite old and the desks are very uncomfortable. No.proper canteen. Insufficient hostels for accomodation. Lack of classrooms to occupy every student. However the lawns and gardens are very beautiful and the college is full of greenery. The vibes are amazing because of such greenery. There is a lot of space for the student to hang around. the library is really nice and has a lot of space for eevryone to sit and study.
Professors are good and well qualified. However the atmosphere of the college is more inclined towards societies and other co cirricular activities so students tend to loose interest in studies once they enter college. But the teachers leave no stone unturned to help them and try to convey whatever is necessary from the point of view of examinations.
I have heard so many stories about students getting places in the Big 4, companies like EY, KPMG, etc. No doubt the placement cell works very well and students get the most deserving jobs according to their caliber.
Yes I do feel that I am getting my Money's worth. The quality of infrastructure provided and the knowledge given make it worth the money. That is what I personally feel about it.
We have an outstanding College campus. We engage in all kinds of activities ranging from dramatics two literature, from social work to financial literacy. The students and the teachers are very supportive .
Lack of space is the main problem here. From labs to canteen, everything is in bad condition. The administration does not even care about improving the facilities they already have, forget about adding new ones.
Teachers are willing to help but a lot of it also depends on the students. Most of teachers are highly qualified and are always there for the students, if they ask for help. They are easily reachable through their contact numbers on Whatsaapp
Not many students are getting placed and salaries offered are not lucrative enough. Placement cell tries to get good companies but can't do so because of the negative image of college in terms of infrastructure and social environment.
The fees is very low, around 6000 rupees a year for B.com. For such a low fees, its definitely value for money.
Campus life depends on what type of societies students engage themselves in. There are plenty of options. The college isn't safe because of regular fights due to elections.
