Sri Gayadeen Maurya Mahavidyalaya, Auraiya Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Sri Gayadeen Maurya Mahavidyalaya, Auraiya is an affiliated college. It offers undergraduate and diploma courses. The college has a total intake capacity of 1, 247 students across four major programs: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B. Sc), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). Admissions to Sri Gayadeen Maurya Mahavidyalaya are based on merit and are conducted as per the guidelines laid down by the State Government, U. T. Administration and the affiliated University.

Eligibility Criteria: For BA and B. Sc courses - Qualified Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized board. - B. Ed applicants should have completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with minimum 45% marks. - For D. El. Ed course - Qualified Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.

Application Process

The admissions to Sri Gayadeen Maurya Mahavidyalaya are as follow:

1. Verify Eligibility: You must meet the eligibility criteria for the program you wish to pursue (BA, B. Sc, B. Ed, or D. El. Ed).

2. Application Form: Get the application form and fill it up. You can get the form from the college website or the admission office.

3. Document Submission Submit the duly filled application form along with the required documents such as:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations
• Proof of date of birth
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photographs

4. Entrance Test: - In case of B. Ed and D. El. Ed programmes, appear in the entrance test, as may be conducted by the State Government or UT Administration

5. Merit List: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the score in the entrance test (wherever applicable).

6. Counselling and admission: Candidates shortlisted for counselling will have to produce original documents, pay fees and get admission.

7. Final Enrollment: Once all formalities are done students will be officially enrolled in their respective program.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Arts course at Sri Gayadeen Maurya Mahavidyalaya. Merit will most likely be the basis for admissions, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

B. Sc: To pursue a Bachelor of Science course, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with science stream from a recognized board. As in the case of the BA course, admissions are most likely to be based on merit, taking into consideration the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

B. Ed.: The candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Education course must have passed the Bachelor’s or the Master’s degree with at least 45% marks. Admission is based on merit i. e., on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (including an entrance test), or on the basis of the process prescribed by the State Government, U. T. Administration or the University.

D. El. Ed.: Candidate should have qualified Higher Secondary with not less than 50% marks from a recognized board. Merit (premium weightage will be given to percentage of marks in the qualifying and entrance examinations or as per policy of the state government/UT administration).
