Sri Krishnadevaraya University College of Engineering and Technology, Anantapuram Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Sri Krishnadevaraya University College of Engineering and Technology (SKUCET), Anantapuram, is one of the eminence constituent colleges of Sri Krishnadevaraya University. The college is involved in offering various engineering programs and works through a rigid admission procedure to select possibly the best candidates. SKUCET has got the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to impart quality technical education. Admissions to SKUCET are mainly based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). The entrance test is conducted at the state level by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the purpose of admission to different engineering programs. The college follows a centralized admission process based on the government regulations of the state.

Undergraduate decisions are made on the basis of rank earned in the EAMCET. The AP EAMCET convener shall be executing the counseling and seat allotment procedures based on the reservation rules laid down by the state, thus rendering the admission process fair and transparent to all meritorious candidates. For the Category A seats of the M.Tech program, admission is based either on the GATE or the PGECET, thus expanding the number of qualified candidates aspiring for an admission to postgraduate studies into the same institution.

Application processes at SKUCET depend on the eligibility.

B.Tech programs:

Appear for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE).

1. Qualify for the AP EAMCET with a valid rank.
2. Register for counseling for AP EAMCET when the date is announced.
3. During the course of counseling, select SKUCET and the preferred B.Tech courses.
4. If allotted a seat, report to SKUCET for document verification and admission.

Necessary documents that must be provided by the Government for B.Tech admission:

• AP EAMCET rank card
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Transfer certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Other relevant certificates stipulated by the institute

For the M.Tech program:

1. Appeared for the GATE or PGECET exam.
2. Apply for M.Tech admission AT SKUCET as soon as the admission notification is issued.
3. Submit the application form enclosing necessary documents and application fees.
4. Counseling must be attended if shortlisted based on GATE/PGECET scores.
5. If selected, the admission process must be completed.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Tech: Five B.Tech programs offered in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are examined by SKUCET. The intake for each of these programs is 60 seats. Admission is done on the basis of the rank obtained in the AP EAMCET. The eligibility criteria state that a candidate should have completed the 10+2 standard with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

M.Tech: The institute has an M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering. The admission to this program happens on the basis of the GATE or PGECET result for the Category A seats. Eligibility requirements for that M.Tech program include B.E./B.Tech in the relevant field.
