But in case if you are not able to get through the merit list you can go in different colleges which are good and becoming better day by day for example you can choose Aryabhatta College also which is located in south campus only.

if that is the case I am afraid you will not be granted admission 

entrances are compulsory for almost all colleges nowadays 

not having maths is not an issue per say, but if your course demands it then it may be an issuE
