42 MonthsGeneral Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year and 6-month full-time diploma program offered by Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bengaluru, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM / LHV, there is no age bar.
- Minimum education-
- 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with science (physics, chemistry, and Biology) subjects with aggregate 45% marks.
- Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM courses from the school are recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- ANM training i.e. 10+11/2 years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
- In addition to the above, the admission procedure can be laid down by the concerned State Nursing Council / Nursing Examination Boards.
