Degree wise Admission Process
DPT: Diploma in Physiotherapy. A foundational diploma in this field. The admission is most probably taken on the basis of the 10+2 examination results in science subjects and an entrance test or interview conducted by the college.
BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy): Four years undergraduate. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission process may include consideration of 10+2 marks, and a college-specific entrance test or interview might be required.
MPT (Master of Physiotherapy): SCPRC offers specializations in the following areas for MPT: Neurosciences, Musculoskeletal & Sports, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Community-Based Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecological Practice. The MPT program generally admits students after a BPT degree. Selection procedure may be entrance exam, interview, and academic background of the candidate.
Ph.D. in Physiotherapy: SCPRC offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in Physiotherapy. Generally, the master's degree in Physiotherapy is required at the time of admission to these research-oriented programs. Selection procedure may involve an evaluation of the research proposal, entrance test, and a personal interview to evaluate the research aptitude of the candidate.
