Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech/BE: SMCET offers 8 undergraduate programs in engineering such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Biotechnology. The total B.Tech/BE intake in these programs is 360 seats. Admission is based on CEETA-PG scores, and candidates must have completed 10+2 with either Physics, Chemistry, and Math or Civil Engineering subjects.

M.Tech/ME: M.Tech means Master of Technology; ME means Mater of Engineering. The 3 postgraduate engineering programs are ME in Computer Science and Engineering, ME in Communication Systems, and M.Tech in Biotechnology offered by the college with the total intake of these programs being 54 seats. Admission is on the basis of CET scores. Candidates must hold a relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.

MBA: SMCET has an MBA program with 60 seats. Admission to the MBA program is done based on the TANCET scores. The shortlisted members may be called for the following selection processes such as group discussion or personal interview.
