The college has got a well-stocked library which has the carpet area of 25,000 sq.ft. The library has more than 35000 volumes of books and a good number of national and international journals and periodicals are subscribed to enhance the intellectual knowledge of the students and staff. The college is a member of online IEEE journals. The library has also signed an MoU with DELNET to have access to a very rare collection of books. Well-qualified librarians and assistants are always available to render help to the users of the library. The library is computerized and equipped with a Photocopier for taking copies of any relevant article from the reference section of the library. It has got a state-of-the-art digital library with high-speed Internet facility.

The college gives due importance to Sports and Games. SMCET has state-of-the-art football and hockey ground. The contemporary basketball court has a floodlight facility. The campus also has advanced facilities for indoor games and all sports activities are guided by well-qualified professionals.

The state-of-the-art computer laboratory has highly configured computers with internet facility. It has 600 numbers of latest IBM Lenovo Workstations and four IBM X series servers. All these workstations are networked and have an uninterrupted power supply. The dedicated and trained professionals guide the students through practical applications of computer science with the help of learning tools.

Hygiene and quality food are the supreme priority at Campus. It provides fresh, nutritious and delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for the students and staff. Stringent quality control and strict supervisory methods are practised to maintain hygienic food with the team of chefs, teaching, and boarding staff. As a unique feature, the menu is decided by the students' committee.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar. Each department has its own association. Training on Communication Skills, Aptitude Test, and Presentation skills are the main objectives. The association plays a key role in conducting seminars, guest lectures, national level symposiums, workshops, and any department-level functions.

Transportation is another feat of the college and it is operated from all the main towns and cities around the college. The busses are operated from Madurai, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi, Devakottai, and Karaikkudi. Special trips are arranged for hostellers during holidays and these facilities are expanded every year.

The College Campus has been fixed as the venue since many of the alumni have preferred this place and they too hope that it would be a grant reunion for all.
