The college had good WiFi but washrooms are not good enough. The food in the cafe is good and hygienic. I do not know about laboratories as I am an arts student. The campus is full of greenery and is very beautiful.

I am currently doing my undergraduation in English literature. The faculty is very good and approachable. The lectures are precise and are in a discussion modes. The classroom size is small enabling more student teacher interaction.

There are many internship opportunities available through the Campus Placement Cell. Students have many opportunities to work along with their graduation and also during the summer and winter breaks. Most of the students opt to go for higher studies rather than campus placements.

The tuition is fee around 40k per year. This is higher than rest of the colleges affiliated to University of Delhi but is worth it. Yes, I feel my education and experiences from the college is worth my money.

The college has about 50 societies to de stress. Whatever your interest be you will find a society that caters to your interests. Students have a chance to try and figure out which society is good for them.

The college sports aesthetic infrastructure, however, to keep in mind is that it is quite a few decades old & so, some parts are quite worn off. Notice says renovation is in process so we can expect it to be at its best when it reopens. The college provides various facilities wifi. Air conditioners and smart boards are installed in most of the classrooms & the latter are often used for presentations. The football field, gymnasium and the lawns are also well-maintained.

The college houses some of the best professors, and it can be seen in the way they teach. They are welcoming and always try to understand the students in order to think of the best way to impart knowledge in the most efficient way.

The Campus Placement Cell of the college is very active in helping students land good internships and placements. Apparently, the highest salary package that was offered to a student in 2019 was 29 lakhs per annum. However, the companies in contact with the college does favor certain courses e.g. Economics and Mathematics. But the internships are offered to students from every course and it will definitely help build your own work ethics and your CV!

Everyone is very friendly, speaking from personal experience. The atmosphere is that of healthy competition, and it urges you to do better while people around you encourage you to do the same. The college admits a much smaller number of students compared to other colleges which makes you feel more relaxed and people bond during the various events organised by the societies.

Every classroom is equipped with a projector, clean classrooms and a whiteboard. The classrooms are well-maintained and the air-conditioned aspect makes attending lectures during summers much more attractive. The hostels (or Residence) can be better. They need to be renovated and taken care of regularly. The libraries are nice, cool and calming. The living spaces are quite clean but the food could use some variety, though I find it quite hygienic. The football fields & gyms are well-equipped.

I am studying Economics Hons with English Literature as my Generic Elective. The subject matter is fairly practical and is one of the few courses that helps you comprehend a lot of political and economic debates in the world. The syllabus could use some revision but the faculty of our eco department ensure are updated by giving us news editorials of key happenings in the world. It really helped me understand why India's economy was stagnating. The study makes you jobready more than other courses

Our colleges is renowned for its placements, though it's mostly economics and Maths students who get placed. The quality of placements is quite high, with the average placement package being 10 lakhs per annum (LPA). It also offers good internships at good companies and NGOs, which help leverage the learning process and make your CV much more attractive. In 2019, the highest salary package was 29 Lakhs per annum.

It costs around 44k per year, which is quite high for a college in DU. I feel I am getting my money's worth since the level of comfort and learning curve is enhanced by the quality of the faculty members and the peer group.

The college campus is clean, green and well-maintained. In fact, it is one of the few DU colleges which is quite calm and not crowded. This has earned it its "boring" tag. Students can find a wide plethora of activities like theatre, music, events logistics, treasure hunts, talks, informal discussions being held in college at any point of time. Everyone is involved in some productive activity. The students and teachers are very helpful IF you get to know them properly. They're competitive too.

Chill, enjoy and don't let the Competitive environment of Stephen's get to your head. Play with the dogs and attend many after-parties. Do what you've never had the chance to do.

Though the buildings are old,the infrastructure and facilities are well-equipped. The A/C in the classrooms make classes during the summer season much bearable. The classrooms have individual desk and chair which gives the students space and comfort while learning( own preference). From experience, living spaces are fairly hygienic and the food can be better.

I'm in the BAP department with disciplines in History and Political Science. The faculty is the one of the best in the college. The curriculum gets updated every semester and I think they are highly beneficiary for one who either wants to pursue higher studies or attempt civil services exams.

The Campus Placement Cell(CPC) is responsible for placements in the college. The opportunities for placements are endless for a responsible and deserving student. Many students have gone on and been offered with more that 15k+ salary package.

Accruing to the good faculties and the added extracurriculars, the cost is fairly reasonable. Being in the residence is an advantage as you live inside the college campus, saving you a lot of time and money for travels and getting to classes on time.

The college gives one a wholesome college experience. Be it with the various societies, activities, events and talks or when simply lounging about in the cafes, science dhaba or the lawns. The support staff is helpful and the teachers pay attention to each student's problems, as best they can.

Most of it is all right in my opinion. The buildings are really old but I like the feeling of rusticity in it. Since I'm an arts major, I'm not sure about labs but all the classerooms I have been studying in have ACs on during summers. Since I'd taken PE as my GE I can say, the sports department building is very good. The library and wifi facility is what we use the most and so far as I've been in college, it has been moret ham sufficient for me. The food isn't bad, but usually comes overpriced.

I've only been a semester and a half in college but even so I can say academics in college is one of the best. I've been taught by four different professors, all with their own styles of teaching but all of them more than qualified to teach undergrads. They're approachable and are open to discussions anytime. I'd say that academics and professors of the college is one of its greatest assets.

I'm not quite sure as I am not really signed up for this but I do know that the college cpus placement cell (CPC) is one of the largest well articulating student led cells in the college. A lot of students from all years are active participants in this and I'd vouch that it is very professional handled, considering it is led by students.

My first term bill came to about 22k (rounded up). I know a lot of other DU colleges come at half the price, but if I have to be honest, for an education like the one offered St Stephen's, I think it's quite worth it. I have all the facilities I need working well for me and the experience in college has been nothing short of amazing.

Societies in college are one of the best aspect of a college life. There are a lot of societies and all these are open to all who are interested. It is impossible to participate in all the societal activities because there are just too many of them but they're all fun. There are huge lawns in all directions, with a cafe and a dhaba in the two blocks. We have a chapel and common rooms for rest/recreation. There are courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, a football field and a gym for use.

Since I've studied in only one college so I'm not sure if I can compare it to other colleges but my short (pre pandemic) experience at St Stephen's has been rich and vibrant. The campus dogs, gardens, practices of various perfomative societies will all eventually be treasured memories.

St. Stephen's College has one of the cleanest campuses in Delhi University. The lawns are so clean and well-maintained that one need not worry about getting dirty. The classes are big, spacious and clean. One unique thing about the classes which I love is that each class in the Arts Block has portraits of professors and admin who used to teach/work at Stephen's. The hostels could be better, there have been reports of sightings of rats and snakes too. The cafe food is hygienic but less variety.

The academic culture is so rigorous in Stephen's that if you're not academically inclined, it could be hard for you. The professors are strict, punctual and are so passionate about their subjects that they don't understand why you don't want to study.. the tutorial system is held religiously. Yes, I think the curriculum is updated. I won't say the study makes me job-ready. One would've to update oneself with the required skills and knowledge to compete in the outside world.

The quality of placements at Stephen's is quite good and top-notch. Many students have got placed at very good companies like McKinsey, EY, Google, Standard Chartered et cetera. Most of the students who got placed were from Economics and Mathematics. The average salary offered in 2019 was 10.19 Lakhs per annum. The placement process is pretty easy and pleasant due to the high professional standards maintained by the CPC.

My course cost around 44k per year. With residence fees added, the total came to around 1.2 lakhs. Yes, in terms of academics and campus life, I feel I am getting my money's worth. But in terms of residence, I'm not really sure. I like staying in residence, it's calm, comfortable but it's too strict for girls.

I find my college campus life to be very enjoyable and vibrant, though it's quite overwhelming at times. Each and every person in Stephen's is either busy with studies or society activities or just hanging out aimlessly. There are many fun societies like Shakespeare Society, Sabha, Music Society, Economics Society and even one for civil services aspirants. The students can be pretty snobbish, fun, annoying, Competitive, studious. The location is very safe even for women.

Overall, the college is worth it. The academic culture is a big deal in Stephen's. The campus life can be enjoyable if you have your gang and take part in society activities.

St. Stephens has the basic infrastructure required for a healthy education. Though it isn't the most technologically advanced campus in Delhi University, every class is equipped with Air Conditioner (which is a major relief for Delhi's summer). The college library is one of the best among DU colleges, with a rich assortment of diverse literatures. The college has a gym for regular use and a sports department. Apart from designated rooms for ECAs, the college has every facility required.

I am studying English Literature. The faculty of the English Department is a cornucopia of academic and literary riches. There are teachers from different parts of the country, who are emphatic, kind, and capable of bringing out the best in you (provided you make the effort). The curriculum is decided by the University, therefore there is little that the college can do about that. Even so, tutorial discussions go beyond the curriculum and compel oneself to think and learn substantially.

The Campus Placement Cell provides regular updates by mail to its subscribers regarding internships and job placements, discipline-wise. The college is affiliated to many firms viz. McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, A.T. Kearney, Parthenon-EY and Bain & Company, to name a few.

Fees are paid every semester. For day scholars the total fees comes to about 20,000 INR while for the resident members (Hostellers) the total fees is around 50 - 60k INR. My opinions on the fees are drawn through comparison with other colleges in Delhi University. St. Stephens is an expensive college (considering other college fees amount to around 10k INR for a year).

Campus life of any college depends on the student themselves. But St. Stephens makes it more engaging through its open societies, (most of them) which do not require special trials to get into, and accept members throughout the year. Most freshmen will find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer number of societies they can be a part of viz. Poetry Society, Shakespeare Society, Civil Service Forum, Hiking Club, Debate Society, English Literary Society, Music Society et al. all of them in-situ.

St. Stephens provides ample space and time for discussions to widen one's perspective. This process is further facilitated by the diverse crowd which hails from all over India.

The College, having been built in the 1940s, houses rather old equipment but all are functional. Its whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The Library also has its own homegrown OPAC system. The campus is lush and green, and has wide open spaces which are well maintained. The dining space is well maintained. It's roofs are at a sorry state however. At its best, paint chips off now and then, and at its worst, whole chunks fall to the floor.

The Department of Philosophy is the oldest department and its total strength is 30 students. The teaching-learning method is one of impersonal and dialectical mood, with students and professors engaging with one another, exchanging arguments and discussing ideas. Due to the less number of students, there is more room for student-professor relationships, and more investment is given to the student. The DU curriculum is updated with the latest developments in the field of Philosophy.

The placements at St Stephen's is one of phenomenal achievement. In 2019-2020, a student from the Department of Economics got the highest package in the University at 40 lakhs per annum. A number of people from the Department of English got internships at various publishing houses such as HarperCollins and Penguins. A student from the Department of Philosophy got a job at Zilingo, a Singaporean company dealing in fashion ans multimedia.

The cost of the Bachelor's in Philosophy is around 20,000/- per year with additional charges from the side of the College. It is well worth the cost with regards to academics. The College, being rather old, needs a lot of upkeep and is supported by the students currently studying with donations from the alumni as well. A typical year would cost well over 1.5 Lakhs with Resodence and 80,000/- without Residence.

The College campus is spread over 30 acres, the biggest college campus in the University. It has a thriving social life with well over 45 different societies that fill the sic lawns with dance and song. With just over 1200 students, the campus does not feel crowded, giving way to relaxing strolls on the lawns, quiet mornings and serene evenings. There is 24x7 security provided by FortemSecurity. It is located in North Campus, University Enclave, a place where student life is thriving.

The college has quite the small campus but it has several facilities, including but not limited to a computer lab, science labs, a footbal field, a basketball court and well-stocked library. The wifi on campus is also reliable and most classes come with a functioning projector and A/C. The campus does have 6 hostel buildings on its grounds -- called its Residence -- but it doesn't have air-conditoning nor a fridge; there is however, a microwave. The campus is clean and well-kept.

As an English student, I only have good things to say about the English faculty in the college. Most professors are passionate about the subject and come to class well-prepared. The tutorial system in the college, where a class is divided into 4-5 groups of 8-10 students who all get to meet the professors for tutorial classes once a week. It allows for easier one-to-one interaction with the professors and allows the student to get constructive criticism.

The quality of the placement you get depends on your course. Usually, it is the students of Economics who fare better -- in 2017, a BA Economics students received the highest placement package in DU with 40 LPA. However, a degree from Stephen's is still valuable and with a subject like English, which requires further studies, Stephen's is a great first-step. Some seniors have secured internships at Penguin and Harper Collins.

I'd like to begin by stating that the college has really poor infrastructure. Being an old establishment, it seems fair that not much renovating can be done. The college is really at a point where renovation would mean tearing down the whole college and then building a new one. Toilets are a mess at times due to waterlogged drains. Food can be considered as edible, labs can become extremely hot in summers. However, the good news is that the classrooms in the main block have AC's.

The four star rating in my opinion is because of the lack of courses available in the college. The college does not provide courses in political science, biology and sociology and many more. However, a few courses namely- English, Economics, History and Philosophy have one of the best faculty members. The college's vision is to improve the performance of these four departments in the coming years and it is probably the right place to take up these courses.

The college has a society known as the CPC (Campus Placement Cell) which is responsible for each and every placements. Everyone is given an opportunity so it all comes down to well you are able to advertise yourself. Average salary starts at around 15000 per month. McKinsey, DE Shaw are potential recruiters, also in the year 2017 a guy from Economics scored a 40 lpa placement. Cheers!

Money becomes a real factor when it comes to education. Nothing comes cheap. The college is not the costliest college in DU but you have to be willing to part away with some of your money. Am i getting my money's value worth of education? Yes, at least for my course in BA. You see, it's a very good deal if you want to study Humanities or Economics in this college, because these are one of the best departments in DU.

The college has a lot of societies . You can be sometimes overwhelmed by the amount of activities going on everyday at the college. There are drama societies, literary societies and even a society for civil aspirants. The college has well guarded parking lots and entrances. There are security guards in and around campus. In case of natural calamities, there is enough open space to vacate to. The campus is totally ragging proof. You can expect no harassment or bullying.

Stop by the cafe tree. Play with the campus dogs. Sit in the lawns. Have a cup of coffee. Visit the library. Never forget your ID card.
