Quite good,the college infrastructure can be improved.A lot of new courses are being constantly included in the curriculum.Mnay new blocks are being constructed to accomodate the growing number of students joining for various courses.The college does not have AC's and smart boards etc,but we do have projectors for usage during lectures and presentations.The library is spacious and has a net centre and free wifi as well.The place is clean and the canteen food is decent.

I'm studying B.Voc sustainable energy management,our college is one of the first to offer this course which can be regarded as a next gen course and is a need of the hour due to the ongoing climate crisis and global warming.The course is still in the developmental stage as only 1 batch has passed out until now.The quality of teaching is fine.

The course gives sufficient knowledge to take up jobs but the campus placement cell hasn't still made its mark to bring in companies that can recruit students.Many startups from the field come for recruitment,they offer good internships .The placement process is conducted well and adequate training is given

My course costs me around 20000 rupees per year which is a meagre amount compared to other colleges.I definitely feel that i got my money's worth because of the oppurtunities i got as part of the course.

The campus is located in a place called cathedral road,its a bustling place and is safe for students.Students are not allowed to use their mobile phones in campus which is a topic still debated upon:)

Fairly good.The college infrastructure can be improved.A lot of new courses like BVoc Sustainable energy management and BVoc food processing and quality control which are mostly practical oriented can have better lab facilities.New blocks are being constructed to accommodate the growing number of students.While Stella does not boast of great facilities like smart boards and AC's,we use projectors for presentations.The library has a net centre and free WiFi.Cleanliness is good and food is decent.

Placements are not very well established yet since mine is a new course.Generally speaking, placements at Stella are quite good.Avg salary offered is around 6-7 Lpa The placement process is smooth and the college provides adequate training.

The course costs around 20000 per year.I personally feel that I got my full money's worth since we are exposed to lot of applications in the field and lot of opportunities as well.

With a lot of greenery,the campus gives a pleasant atmosphere for students.Stella encourages a lot of co-curricular activities which include sports, theatre, different clubs, student-exchange programmes etc and helps in holistic development of the students.Located near Cathedral road,the place is pretty safe, especially since it's a girls college.Students are not yet allowed to use mobile phones in campus

i am very happy to be a part of this college.It has good infrastructure. College campus is too good and it is full of greenery. Looks like different world. Vibe is different. It provides very good laboratories, workshops, hostel, mess, canteenetc.

academic is good . The course is well designed and the extra curricular activities are also interesting. The faculties are also very good and they always try to teach us in the easiest and simple manner.

comming to placements. The tpo sir brings very good placements to the college itself about 75% were placed in the campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 4.0 lakhs per annum yes the placement process is different from company to company but easy.

very less fee. The fee was Rs.2500 something perannum.Yes, The fee structure was quite affordable for all groups of societies.The fees is very minimal as compared to other colleges and it is worth it.It also provide scholarships for students.

The campus is very much like a meeting ground. Everyone likes to be in the campus. The classrooms, the canteen, the playground everything is very much appreciated. The student teachers share a very good relation.

it is good college

The college has equipments and laboratories. The library is well maintained and good . A new block has also been built so that there are enough classrooms .There is a basketball court , tennis court and NCC ground which are also well maintained.There is the main canteen where you can buy meals, then two small ones where you can get snacks.The food is hygienic and cheap. Although the college as a whole is small , it is well maintained .There is no transportation(unless the college takes you out).

Academics in stella is pretty good . The curriculum is well updated . There are also many extra credit courses that are available which is good since we can learn things apart from what we study . We also get to pick general electives ,allied electives and major electives which allows students to choose the subject of their choice and learn .

There’s a career guidance cell in stella maris . This helps students get placed . They also give you advices or training If you have doubts regarding anything related . They will also give you opportunities for internships .

The fees for the first shift isn’t as much as the second shift . In fact it’s actually pretty cheap when compared to other colleges .

Students are required to have 85% attendance. It it’s above 80% you pay condonation . Only ten percent attendance can be claimed if you provide medical certificate or if you need OD( so people can’t participate much in other college activities).The gates are kept close . You can enter any time but you need gate pass from the HOD if you need to get out anytime in between . It’s compulsory for students to take part in students training program which could be sports or nss or ncc .

Because it’s a catholic college , students will be forced to be there during the inaugural mass which is kind of frustrating. Dress code is better than some other colleges . As long as you don’t wear sleeveless or shorts or three fourths , you’re good to go . The college as a whole is very strict , pretty much like school .

As far comparing to other college in Chennai, I feel Stella Maris have good infrastructure. They have four good hostel for students with high security , laboratories with advanced equipments which helps students to take up their own research . the college also have many clubs like western dance club , event management club and so on for students which enables them to showcase their talents. To mention specifically it have ramps and other special equipment for physically challenged students.

A wonderful place to explore all knowldege and talent. The college more than 40 courses .The admission is purely merit based. You can find best teachers for the course . The content of the course is more comprehensive and elaborates. Each students is given opportunity to take up course from different departments which help them to explore other content too.At the end of every semester students were asked to take up a online review census about each subject ,the facilities.

The college have a placement cell , which is supported by the alumni of the college. Interested students can register themselves , college will provide special training and even conduct mock interviews. Students in final year will also get notified about the job vacancies in their field . other than this students can get placed in various other important and prestigious institutions all over the world .

The fee infrastructure differs from department to department , for the course which i opted its 10, 000 per annum , and its completely worth of what I'm learning . students below EWS , SC/ST communities and various other sections were given scholarship and sponsors which obviously leading to huge empowerment of women in the locality. Hostel fee concessions is given for students who can't afford them.

There is a big campus for the NSC students and sports person. Study is the major concentration there . however the library was excellent . collection of rare books can be seen there .it's a whole new world basically , you get to interact with foreign exchange students , various other famous successful personality of your field .The management always try to create a friendly and eco friendly campus for the students. College is provided with height security since it's a women college.
