Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, Indore Admission Process

Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, is one of the best institutes in the field of pharmacy education imparted at Indore, at the moment, though following an immensely challenging admission campaign to have the best qualified students in the various pharmacy programs applied for at the institute. The college offers B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and D.Pharma programs to cater to different levels of pharmaceutical education. Admissions at Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy will only pursue the best academic suits to be included in the course curriculum. Admission to B.Pharma and D.Pharma programs is solely based on MP PPT (Madhya Pradesh Pre-Polytechnic Test). Candidates appearing for this exam and eligible for the College shall be judged on the basis of their performance. 

An interface with a dav standardized language is used to gauge the potential and acumen of some selected individuals in pharmacy and probably select them for aptitude performance and also advanced study in pharmacy.  For D.Pharma admissions, a candidate must have appeared and secured a place in the MP PPT (Madhya Pradesh Pre-Polytechnic Test). Application Process

  1. For the B.Pharma and D.Pharma programs:

In case of B.Pharma Lateral Entry:

  1. Check for possible qualifications for the lateral entry, which may be a diploma in pharmacy or similar streams.
  2. For direct admission, apply to the college for lateral entry.
  3. Any specific selection process might be conducted by the college, which could include a written test or interview.
  4. If selected, you must comply with further necessary admission steps like document verification and fee payment.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Admission to the B.Pharma program for Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy is conducted according to the MP PPT examination. There are certainly 100 students authorized to take on this unique course, being about 100 seats. Consequently, being a general criteria; MP PPT examinees are eligible to seek admission. The basis of selection is essentially given to the rank achieved in the examination and the subsequent admission seat received by the examinee.

M.Pharma: The College offers M.Pharma with three specializations: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology. Each specialization casts a maximum of 15 seats- the result being 45 seats for the entire MPharma. For entrances to these programs, the college considers marks received in GPAT. This stage of selection is endowed with a list premised on GPAT score, which is, obviously, by default filled with bloomers, with the ultimate selection depending on the highest GPAT marks.

D.Pharma: MP PPT will be the decisive test that provides a candidate with entry to the Diploma in Pharmacy Program. The approved strength is 60 for these seats. In principle, having cleared the MP PPT, candidates can seek admission to D.Pharma.

B.Pharma Lateral Entry: Lateral entries into B.Pharma have 10 seats vacant. It is directed towards those holding diplomas in related fields or other related training courses; this allows students to be directly admitted to the second year of the B.Pharma course, creating a more flexible route for entry. Admission into the lateral entry mode may have a set of admission criteria based on the performance in the diploma course and other tests and/or interviews conducted by the college.

The faculty is very experience and unique method of teaching by ppt and practical mostly. They always train there students that's they can go in every field like government sector or private sector.
