SSI Pune Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Symbiosis Statistical Institute, Pune (SSI Pune) is a constituent college. Application Process

The application procedure for SSI Pune varies between the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as follows:

For B.Sc Applied Statistics and Data Science (Hons):

1. Get registered for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) through the website.
2. Fill the SET application form along with payment of the fees.
3. The SET test is conducted on a scheduled date, and one appears for the test.
4. The shortlisting is done based on the scores of SET. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the PI-WAT round.
5. Report at the PI-WAT centre that has been allotted.
6. Final selection is done on the basis of combined performance on SET, PI-WAT, and academic record.

For M.Sc Applied Statistics

1. Eligibility criterion: minimum 50% in graduation, and 45% for SC/ST.
2. Apply on the website or portal of SSI Pune.
3. Pay the application fee.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for WAT and PI.
5. WAT and PI must be attended at one of the centers provided (Kolkata, Noida, or Pune).
6. The shortlist is based on academic records, and performance is considered in the WAT and PI.

The WAT and PI is conducted in cities like Kolkata, Noida, and Pune. The WAT carries out the writing ability of the candidate through the essay on any general topic, whereas PI is an interaction with the panel of experts that judges whether the candidate is fit for the program or not.
