Tagore Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Bilaspur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Tagore Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Bilaspur, is one of the new promising institutes in the country specializing in pharmaceutical education. It was PCI approved and mainly focused on two programs undertaken, which were: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm). The institute has always been dedicated to quality education in the field of pharmacy. Admission to the B.Pharm program is given based on Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT). The entrance examination was a major part of the selection process in pharmacy programmes offered at Chhattisgarh. The College was accredited with a sanctioned intake of 100 for the B Pharm course. Eligibility criteria for admission are mainly 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects.

Application Procedure

Application procedure of Tagore Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Bilaspur is as follows:

1. Entrance Examination: Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT) will have to be appeared by all applicants who wish to pursue B. Pharma course. It is quite an essential criterion to evaluate eligibility and merit of admission.

2. Application Form: After the declaration of results, the candidates are allowed to fill up the application form as made available by the institute after qualifying the CG PPHT. It can be downloaded from the institute's website or obtained from the admission office.

3. Submission of documents: Applicants need to submit various documents along with their application, which will include:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• CG PPHT score card
• Domicile certificate (if so required)
• Category certificate (for the reserved categories)
• Recent passport-sized photographs

4. Merit List: The institute prepares the Merit List on the basis of scores obtained in CG PPHT and other criteria as per institute policy.

5. Counseling: Then the shortlisted students may be invited for counseling during which they could opt for their preferred course, either B.Pharm or D.Pharm as per their merit and seat availability.

6. Fee Payment: After selection, candidate(s) are liable to pay the fee that institute demands to confirm admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B Pharm: The four-year undergraduate course is being offered to the candidates under Tagore Institute of Pharmacy and Research at the undergraduate level. Candidates are selected for the program according to their merit in the Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test, wherein the institute conducts 100 seats.

D.Pharm: The college grants a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy. The quota is approved for 60 students. Admission procedure for D.Pharm has not been mentioned. The entrance exam might take into consideration the candidate's 10+2 scores and possibly a state-level entrance exam.
