TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Yamunanagar Admission Process

The department and is situated at the prestigious TDTR-KR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, India. The institute specializes in physiotherapy training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The entire admission procedure in the institute is strictly merit-based. Admission is granted to the state-level entrance test held by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The institute offers three full-time courses in physiotherapy, spread across two specialized branches of medicine, namely orthopedics and neurology. The admission process is based on merit alone for all physiotherapy programs, namely BPT and MPT. The institute prepares a merit list based on the candidate's marks obtained in the above-mentioned competitive examination conducted by Pt. B.D. Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy): The BPT program at TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation has an approved intake of 40 seats. Admission to this undergraduate program is through the merit list drawn from the competitive examination conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The total fees for the BPT program is Rs. 310,250.

MPT Neurology: In the case of MPT Neurology, the institute accommodates 9 seats. Admission is based on merit and under the same criteria used for the MPT Neurology, this postgraduate course is selected on the basis of a competitive examination conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The total fee for the MPT Neurology program is Rs. 219,000.

MPT Orthopaedics: The MPT Orthopaedics course also has 9 seats available. The admission process is similar, with selection by merit from candidates who have taken the competitive examination organized by the state agency. The total fee charged for the MPT Orthopaedics program is also Rs. 219,000.

To get admission in BPT ,first of all you need to take an Entrance Test called CET(Common entrance test) .Well, various individual  institutes  conducts entrance exams also to get admission in those institutes .

Some of the well-known accepted entrance tests for BPT are:

  • IPU CET
  • BCECE
  • NEET

Make sure that you should qualify the minimum eligibility criteria needed by the institutes that offers BPT.

  • Candidates should qualify class 12th exam with PCB combination as compulsory
  • English should be an included subject in 12th and candidates required to pass in this subject

TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy offers BPT courses on the basis of merit list taken from the Entrance exam conducted by State Agency i.e. Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
