Trinity College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram Admission Process

This admission process for aspiring engineers is available through Trinity College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram? The college is one of the most recently approved colleges by AICTE to provide B.Tech programs in Engineering branches. Apart from its merit and fairness, it is also derived from a competitive admission policy which enables gifted students to wet their dream of becoming engineers. The admission process into Trinity College of Engineering is majorly through two channels: Merit and Management quota. Kear Engineering Architecture and Medical (KEAM) examination is one of the mandatory requirements for admission through the Merit quota as all candidates must have passed and been ranked for Government quota seats. For Management quota entrance, admission is based either on KEAM or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) score.

KEAM, organized by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, carries out the entrance test for Trinity College. The next upcoming KEAM Examination would be held from 24 April 2025 to 28 April 2025-in online mode. Prospective students are advised to check regularly the college website and the CEE Kerala website for specific admission dates and deadlines. Eligibility for B.Tech at Trinity College usually means qualifying the 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Application Process

The application process for Trinity College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, consists of the following steps:

1. Qualify for the KEAM examination conducted by CEE Kerala-or the JEE examination.

2. Visit the college website and CEE Kerala website for the date and procedure for application.

3. For Merit Quota:

  • Apply through the CEE Kerala centralized admission process.
  • Fill in the personal and academic details in the application form.
  • Upload required documents including KEAM rank card and academic certificates.
  • Make payment of application fee as specified by CEE Kerala.

4. For Management Quota:

  • Go through the website of Trinity College of Engineering or visit the admission office.
  • Obtain the application form of the college for management seats.
  • Submit the score cards of KEAM or JEE along with other mandatory documents.
  • Pay the application fee as specified by the college.

5. Wait for the merit list or call for admission from the college.

6. In case of being selected, report to the college for document verification and admission formalities. 7. Pay the necessary admission fees to secure the seat.

Admission Procedure Degree Wise

B.Tech: Five full-time B.Tech programs are offered by Trinity College of Engineering, each having a duration of four years. All B.Tech programs have the same admission procedure based on KEAM or JEE scores. These are the following B.Tech specializations offered by the college:

  1. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (30 seats)
  2. B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats)
  3. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (30 seats)
  4. B.Tech in Civil Engineering (60 seats)
  5. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cyber Security (30 seats)

All B.Tech programs require candidates to qualify through either the Merit Quota (KEAM rank for Government Admission) or Management Quota (KEAM or JEE scores for Management Admission).

 Required documents needed include:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • KEAM/JEE score card
  • Passport-sized photographs
  • Identity proof,
  • Address proof
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other certificates as specified by the college.
