Udaya College of Education, Kanyakumari Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college students showed admirable commitment to sports and games. Our campus has a 400m track and we conduct various sports activities for students. Tennis Courts, Basketball courts, Badminton Courts, Tennikoit courts, and Kho Kho courts are all of the International standards. Our college has indoor facilities such as a chess board, carom boards, etc. It conducts yearly tournaments in every sport. Yoga sessions are conducted for students to help them maintain both Healthy Minds and Bodies. Our College has a swimming pool which is open all 365 days for students and faculty.

The college is provided with Air Conditioned 2 Seminar Halls, 1 Conference Hall, and Auditorium. These halls are fitted with permanent Audio, Video, and Projection systems. External Chief Guests on various latest topics are regularly invited to deliver lectures to our students. Thus our students are exposed to the recent Technology/Trend.  Faculty Development Programme is conducted in the Seminar Hall, to update the Knowledge of our Faculty Members. Each Seminar hall has a seating capacity of 350 members. The conference hall can accommodate 80 members. Departmental activities such as National level events and other college-related events will be conducted at the Auditorium. It has a seating capacity of 2000 members.

The college has a central library that has a wide range of collections of books & reference books with sufficient volumes, Renowned national and international journals are available for the development of the students. Computer facilities have been provided to enable students to view the Audiovisuals/ CDs available with the latest editions of books. A reprographic facility is made available for the benefit of students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has  Excellent hostel facilities available for the students inside the college campus. We have taken special care in providing a congenial atmosphere inside the hostel for both the mental and physical development of the students. A 24-hour phone facility is available inside the hostel. Other than the warden, a security officer is provided in the hostel to maintain discipline.  Our hostel is established to provide residential facilities with a homely atmosphere for deserving students studying in the institutions managed by our management. This is with a capacity to accommodate 200 students and is situated near the college.

The college has Excellent hostel facilities available for the students inside the college campus. We have taken special care in providing a congenial atmosphere inside the hostel for both the mental and physical development of the students. A 24-hour phone facility is available inside the hostel. Other than the warden, a security officer is provided in the hostel to maintain discipline. A women's hostel with a capacity of 180 students is constructed at close quarters to the college. Students desirous of staying in the hostels should express their option to stay in the hostel in the prescribed form. The option forms should be handed over to the warden. Rules and regulations that should be followed in the hostel.

The college has its transportation facilities, which include 60 plus well-maintained college buses, smooth operators in bringing our students to college on time and also taking them back home safely. The buses are being operated to all important routes in Kanyakumari District and also cover nearby places such as Trivandrum & Tirunelveli.
