Necessary infrastructure and required facilities were there at the college campus. The hostels were spacious and single-sharing. The classrooms were smart and labs were well-maintained. The living spaces were clean. The food was best in terms of quality and hygiene.
The course I studied from there was B. Tech in Biochemical Engineering as I developed my interest in biochemistry and its research and development. The quality of teaching was applaudable at the college which made me job ready with an updated curriculum and syllabus.
The placements of the college were fine. More than 60% students got placed at my time with an average package of 3 lacs and the highest package of 10 lacs for the student of my branch. The placement process was easy for the students and the college was helpful and supportive.
The course cost was 60 thousand per year and it was a great value for money for me as I researched and gained knowledge in the field of Biochemical Engineering deeply. My overall fees for the four years was 2.4 lac rupees as it was a government college.
The college campus was good. The worst part was the small library and the best part was good classrooms. The students volunteered for various occasions and activities. The students and teachers were very supportive and helpful. The location was safe and could access emergencies.
It was near the city so I enjoyed the nightlife there
College infrastructure is good but lab is not good all equipment not working well and teacher is not interested for lab and dean faculty provided any subject to any teacher this is major problem of usct.teacher is good and placement this year is average most of students get placement upto 10 lakhs.
We can say all things is good but syllabus is something different first this college teach theory and next semester you will take lab of this subject but lab condition is not good but some.teacher is so good.
This year max students get placement and highest placement is upto 10 lakhs. Company is coming but most of the company 8s not come in college but our resume is shared and there after they take interview online or in office. Placement is improving.
Now fees is increasing suddenly. My tution fees is 58k and overall fees is 78k but this year 2023 fees is so high fees is 140k approx. But i am unable to understand why college ate increasing fees. All things is happening same but fees 8s increasing only
Campus is so beautiful there is no doubt college is placed near dwarka sector 14 all things is god.there is football ground and cricket ground every where is tree and college provide bus from metro to college.
If you are coming for time pass then college is good campus is so beautiful there is 3 ,4 big grounds, Placement is this year good after corona placement is improved. But lab condition is not good most o the lab is not running
Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure and highly qualified teachers usually from prestigious IIT's abd some are from best foreign universities across the globe. The labs here are well equipped. The classrooms are spacious airy and we'll maintained , the central library is of 2 floors and this is best part . Almost facilities of playing every sport is there in our campus . Also we have a big and good enough swimming pool. The campus practices hygiene and cleanliness everywhere.
I am continuing with Biochemical technology. The teachers are good here and their area of knowledge is vast. Hence over all they are good. Well the curriculum that we follow is well structured we are given every subject that will be important here and the choice electives is also pretty good.
The placement are average as in biochemical industry one need to complete post graduation in order to take jobs and the students persuing b.tech here usually get selected in IIT or other foreign universities.
The fees is definitely less than other b.tech college because of semi govt. It's somewhere around 65000 per anum. Yes it's totally worth the money as it's the only institute offering chemical and Biochemical in delhi after IIT.
Well I would say there is nothing in college campus that I haven't liked from the ground to the auditorium to courtyard everything is always well maintained. Here in university we have alot of different societies and club. Yes we have medicine center in to the university and all the necessary things that we require.
I will highly recommend the students who want to be chemical or biochemical engineer in future. If you don't IIT then it's a good college- to go with. All the best for your future and decide the best for yourself.
All the labs are air-conditioned and well-equipped with all the required machines. USCT is one the University School of Studies, so it is on the main campus. Therefore, it has all the perks of the main campus which are not there in the affiliated colleges. The classrooms are spacious and have the support of smartboard. There are canteen and cafeteria which serves delicious food at a very subsidised price.
University School of Chemical Technology has two courses: Chemical Engineering(B.Tech+M.Tech Dual Degree) and Bio-Chemical Engineering(B.Tech+M.Tech Dual Degree), wherein a student can leave after completing B.Tech. The faculty is not very strict except few. The exam structure: One Minor(mid-term) and one Major(End-Sem). The syllabus of the programs offered here is based on the pattern of IITs and other national and international institutions. Many students have cracked exams like UPSC, GATE.
In terms of placements, the college has average placements. Usually, 5-6 companies come to the campus for placements each year. The college has a 50-60% placements record as most of the big companies this chemical and bio-chemical recruit through GATE. Placement scenario is improving every year and it will improve a lot in the next 4-5 years.
Fees of the course in B.Tech+M.Tech Dual Degree program is Rs.70,000 per year. This is very less as compared to other colleges. My campus has a basketball court, badminton court, a lawn tennis court, a TT table, huge library, and cricket ground with pitch. It's absolutely worth the money.
Since it is on the main campus of the university, it has all the benefits of a proper college campus. It has many sports facilities, students can play any sport they want. It has a central canteen which serves food at very subsidised rates since it is a government university's college campus. It has a central library which is in the middle of the campus refining the beauty of the campus. Teachers and support staff are very supportive. The campus is near to the Dwarka Sec-14 metro station.
University School of Chemical Technology(USCT) is the only government institute after IIT-Delhi in the Delhi-NCR which provides Chemical Engineering degree. It has its own technical fest called "CHEMCHORD". Anugoonj is the annual cultural fest of the university, GGSIPU. Apart from these, there are various seminars and events that take place regularly.
The infrastructure of college is excellent. There is a separate block for library which has fully centralised AC. The gardening is also good. We have 1 large ground for sports, 3 volleyball courts, 1 tennis court, and a badminton court.
Academic wise also, the college is good. The teachers are good and they guide you through the right path. Some teachers are friendly while while some teachers are strict. Here you will meet every kind of teacher. Some teachers think that only students should make their best efforts not teachers. The curriculum is updated.
As of now, the placements are not that much good. Reason being, the field is new and growing. Many students of the college have made it to some top colleges such as IISC and IITs. Looking at the past trends it can be said that off-campus placements are better than on-campus placements.
Total value for money. Here you can get a degree in just INR 2.8 lacs and enjoy all the facilities of the college. The college is best in every aspect.
Overall campus life is good.
University School of Chemical Technology is the second government college offering the course of chemical Technology after IIT D. The complete department of Chemical Technology is well equipped with all necessary equipment and labs for all practical subjects. Talking about living space the department is very clean and food is also hygienic
Talking about my field that is chemical engineering all the syllabus is updated every year looking at the developing requirements of the companies also the facilities are highly educated with high knowledge in thr subject making learning easy . In the university we have research lab that indulges the students to learn more and indepth of the subject.
Out of the batch of 40 students only 10 gets placed on an average on campus because less companies come to the college but off campus placement rate is high as well many students opt for higher studies and go to abroad.
Course fees per year is 60,000peryear which is very valuable for a course like b.tech in chemical engineering with requires a lot of practical cost. Surely this is worth that fees because we carry so many practical where chemicals and equipments are provided by the college and seminars are also conducted regularly where students can explore more opportunities .
Campus life is very interesting and entertaining as well. Our campus is very large with soo many plants and tree giving it a fresh vibe. Campus is located very close to dwarka sector 14 metro station from where you can take rikshaw or you can walk it would take around 20 minutes. The environment of campus is friendly with all safety measures and also the collegemates are super fun which will make your college life intresting.
College has a good infrastructure with all the labs and equipments necessary for any performance. Since college is in the main campus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University it has a large and well maintained campus with many facilities for sports like a huge football ground , badminton court, cricket ground ,volleyball courts, basketball courts, lawn tennis courts and a swimming pool. Wi-Fi is provided for all students and we also have two hostels for boys and two hostel for girls .
Faculty is good and knowledgeable and the curriculum does not need to be updated as much because we are studying chemical engineering. Students are hardworking and teachers also support them in various projects and competitions. Many students clear GATE with good ranks.
Placement is not a strong point of our college because the placement is scarce and even if we get placements the package is low. Placement cell of our college is very poor but it has been improving lately little by little but we still have a long way to go to even compete to top colleges. Placement here is mostly around 3.5l/pa and that too very few students grab placements so most students opt for higher studies or GATE.
70,000Rs Is the fees of 1st year with which varies accordingly year per year. It is cheap compared to many colleges providing a btech degree because it's a government college and it seriously has some good faculties, above average labs but low placement rate and lack of opportunities in core sectors decreases it's value. Overall it's average and you still have enough opportunities ahead in your life if you work hard
You will meet new faces , new and vibrant personalities, different talents and will have a chance to discover yourself because University provides many opportunities in extra curriculum activies with many societies such as dance music literary media etc. For course related we have a fest chemchord and students go to iit bombay for competition every year. overall campus life is good with many tests of different colleges and also anugoonj and sports meet being the two biggest event.academicopp avg
Average college with average life. Don't expect much.
The college does not have all the necessary equimemts. The infrastructure is not so good. Library is quite good and provides the book bank facility. The whole campus is really hygienic and clean. It's nice to walk around the campus area.
Currently I am a 1st year student in Chemical Engineering. There are more guess faculties than the permanent ones. The curriculum is updated but some of the recent developments are not updated. The academic score of students are quite good.
The placement is average. The college is not able to contact with all MNCs present. But as the college is in Delhi off campus placement of students is really good. The average salary offered is generally 3 lakh per annum to 4 lakh per annum.
Tution fee for the whole year is 75,000 rupees. And it's quite worthy to give this much amount.
Campus life is really good and it's beautiful. All kind of sports a student can play in the campus like badminton, volleyball, football, tennis, swimming. College is in heart of the country so it is at the best location.
My personal experience at the college has been quite good. There's still a lot more to explore and to inculcate in many extra curricular activities.
College infrastructure is nice infact it is in main campus of GURU GOBING SING INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY which covers the land about 60 acres.Classes are very well ventilated and there is always sun light in the classrooms.
I am studying Chemical Engineering and in Delhi it is the second best after IIT Delhi. Faculty is really nice everyone is helpful and the studying pattern and the course is similar to IIT Delhi so it is obviously value for money.
Placements are increasing day by day. Our seniors are placed into some companies with a package of around 5lac/year. Most of out seniors have cracked the GATE examination. At first there were like no placements but now the situation is improving at a very nice pace.
Its cost like 60K per year which really cheap as compared to other collegeswith the same course and also provides better study quality than the other collges.
Campus life is really good . For boys if you are in hostel then your entry time will be like 11 at night last and for girls it is 9pm. Teachers apartment is also there so there are many times when teachers calls us to their home for the vivas and assignment submission if there is shortage of time.
College life is soo good if you are into politics then u can participate in many elections like president of DSW(Directorate of student welfare) and for school representative. But if u r not into politics then u should participate in the sports events and literary or dance or open mic there are many things you can do in this college.
The ROI ranking of the college is good so one could prefer it over other colleges in the same league. The campus area hi huge and it's beautiful. Students get to play wide number of sports. And being the main campus of GGSIPU the college as many perks provided by the university.
I am currently a 1st year student persuing Chemical Engineering B tech and M tech dual degree. The curriculum is updated and it does not includes few of the recent developments in the field. Our labs do not have all the equipments.
The placement is average aur below. But being in Delhi the students get placed in off campus placements. The average salary is from 3 lpa to 4 lpa. But the college students are really working hard to increase the connections with many new top MNCs.
My course fee is 75,000 rupess and I think it's worthy to pay this much amount.
The campus is approx in 60 actes. It's really beautiful, clean environment inside the campus. But there should be more shops except the Kendriya Bhandar. And there should be a night canteen.
Overall it's good to be a part of USCT family. The college students and faculty are working hard to touch new heights and improve the campus placements.
