Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: This is a flagship program of Upasana College of Nursing with an approved strength of 75 students. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with science subjects. Admission is merit-based in the qualifying exam and may include an entrance test or an interview.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): 40 seats are available for the GNM course. Eligibility is passing 10+2, science stream if available. Shortlisting is probably to be on merit in the qualifying examination.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: Admission into this course is 10. This course is offered to the registered nurses holding the GNM degree. Candidates are usually provided with admission depending on how well they have done in their previous course in nursing and the years of working experience they have.
M.Sc Nursing: Upasana College of Nursing provides M.Sc courses in various specializations such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing. The candidates should have B.Sc Nursing or equivalent. Admission may be on the basis of scrutiny of the candidate's performance in the undergraduate degree and possibly an entrance exam or interview.
