Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Degree of Bachelor of Education provided that he/she should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination of this University in the 10+2+3 stream or a degree of any other University accepted as equivalent, in any school subject listed below.

Admission Details

Selection for admission to the above course shall be based on the merit list drawn for each subject separately on the basis of the Common Entrance Test-CET conducted for all Private Colleges of Education belonging to Pondicherry Union Territory and 50% of seats sponsored by the Government of Pondicherry through CENTAC.
