36 MonthsDiploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates who pass X Standard or equivalent examinations with Mathematics and Science subjects are eligible for admission into Polytechnic Colleges. There is no age restriction to join the Diploma Courses with effect from the academic year 2004 – 2005.
- Candidates for admission in a three-year diploma shall be required to have passed 10th S.S.L.C Examination (or) The Anglo Indian School Examination with eligibility for Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu (or) any other examination recognized as equivalent to the above by the Board of Secondary Education Tamil Nadu.
Admission Details
Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu alone will be considered for admission to these courses. The students from other states may be considered for admission as per the regulations and guidelines laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. Admissions will be made as per the instructions of the Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.
