Diploma in Mining Engineering at Varadharajan Polytechnic College, Perambalur Offline Course

The candidates who pass X Standard or equivalent examinations with Mathematics and Science subjects are eligible for admission into Polytechnic Colleges. There is no age restriction to join the Diploma Courses with effect from the academic year. 

Candidates for admission in a three-year diploma shall be required to have passed the 10th S.S.L.C Examination (or) The Anglo Indian School Examination with eligibility for a Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu (or) any other examination recognized as equivalent to the above by the Board of Secondary Education Tamil Nadu.

Lateral Entry:

For Lateral Entry into the Second year (third semester) of the three-year diploma courses, the candidates shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational) of 10 + 2 pattern.
