Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Veterinary Pathology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and course offered by Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should possess a Master's Degree in respective subjects.
Candidate should have OGPA of 6.50/10 or equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I/ candidates at Master’s degree level.
Admission Details
Selection for the Doctoral degree program will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in a Master degree program and written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will contain 100 objective type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to those students who have research publications, won medals in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/CSIR-SRF/ NET examinations and those students who are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defence personnel.
