VI Institute of Technology, Kancheepuram (VIIT) is an ISO 9001: 2008 certified institution, was started in the year 2009. sited at Chengalpattu-Thiruporur Highway at Sirukundram affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University this college spread across 10.46 acres of land. For the said discipline of engineering, the VIIT is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The institute provides education in 6 courses of total 2 degrees with total admitted students 385 and faculty members 78. Checksum In technical education, VIIT offers multiple streams at the undergraduate level: The Computing Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil engineering, Post Graduate: The Masters in Embedded System Technology.
