D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed is the main course of Vidyasagar Primary Teacher Training Institute, Haldia. D.El.Ed is a two-year full-time course, designed for aspiring teachers who would teach in primary schools. The admission to D.El.Ed strictly follows the basis of merit: i.e., based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The institute has an approved intake of 50 students for this course, focused and quality-oriented.
