The infrastructure is not the best but the labs are good and well equipped while the place overall is quite hygienic at present a hostel is available but generally individual rooms are pressed by the students
Being an autonomous college comes with an advantage of its own the college gets to add industry-relevant things in the curriculum which help the student in the ever-updating world all the soft skills are also covered by the college to make the students interview ready even skills required in aptitude are being honed
Being a computer student I would say the sheer progress it has shown is quite remarkable for the 21 batch the avg placement was around 6.6 LPA which is quite decent for a college established in 2002 the association of the college with VIT helps it as the placements are combined
The annual fee is 168k which keeps on changing for every batch with some scholarships for students of their respective category for Computer & IT the college is in good department
The college size is 17 Acre quite small also the location is not the heart of the city there are some residential societies which assure of security though
the college as good as the opportunities it provides students have to also make the most of them this college does provide them
The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best.Chemistry ,physics, computer labs are well maintained. Hostel and transport facilities are also provided. The food in canteen is hygienic everything is good
College is offering various courses for Bachelors , Management and MBA including special sessions for many of the students ,teaching staff teaches .They usually teaches on visual screen instead of blackboard. Many webinars and online sessions are also conducted to increase the student's understanding and enhance their knowledge
Many product based and service based companies visits the campus and many students are hired by them. Also packages offered by these companies are satisfactory .Almost 90 to 95 percent students get placed in their desired companies.
College is equipped with all the necessary equipments such has laboratory, Library (library has all the books available which you need or you are interested to read) for each and every subject there is seperate laboratory. There is Wifi support to in campus but it has daily limit. College just lag behind Hostels but they have collaborated with Private hostel for boys as well as girls with is outside campus. And all these Equipment as well as campus is cleaned every day by staff members.
I am studying B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, Teachers which are teaching in college are all experienced teacher and Many of the teachers have done their PHD many are on the way to complete PHD.And from my point of view the teaching curriculum is updated Every year according to industry requirement and college is Autonomous due to which circular can change every year which helps curriculum get updates.College specially focus on interaction skills than Paper work due to which student get job easil
College placement in our college helds every in July (for TYand so from that time till B.Tech) we get change to participate and college tries to place each and every student. There were about 45-50% students placed last year. The average salary offered by companies is about 4.5lpa.
I cost me 78000/- per year(applied through OBC so fees is 50% less) for open students the fees is 1,35000/- might increased now it was in 2018. According to me campus is big so to run campus smoothly without any problem for my time fees was not too much. And the teaching quality is also good all teachers are experienced, and there are regular lecture held so for me fees is not much.
College campus is good and there is healthy atmosphere and there us canteen also to have fun and chit chat. There are many cells like NSS, EDC, CEC etc in whuch students can engage their self. Teaching staff is also supportive and ready to help at any time as well as staff is co-operative also. There is slum area behind college this is only disadvantage of college but ther is no problem for college about slum. campus is safe, there are 24/7 security available. It can handle emergencies also.
The college is very good all buildings fully degitalized college has wifi smart boards well equipped labs all new technology are available basically best infrastructure in all colleges. Simply best college.
I am studying in second year of Vishwakarma Institute of information Technology for Mechanical Engineering the faculty is such talented so and very helpful. They all are highly skilled in there specialized area .
The placement are very good . The minimum average package is 6 - 7 lakh for all branches of VIIT . The highest package is above 17 - 18 lakh . College provides guidance for selection of placement and interview.
College fee is quite high it 1.60 lakh per year so it is very very high but at the same time college also provides many facilities for students from separate boys and girl restrooms to sports club etc.
Campus life is very very best. the Gandharva annual fest is most loved program . concert, events ,dance ,singing ,are the main attraction. The canteen is everyone's friendship katta. The college is very best when friends are always there for you .
Amazing infrastructure with all necessary facilities available. Though not bad hostel facilities, I opted for PG. Since campus is newly established in 2002 it has digitised classrooms and smart rooms. Also it has well set-up labs for research.
College has developed excellent platform though being a newly established college. The faculty is quite helpful and encouraging. The curriculum is well updated and very good for rapidly changing technology and market.
Past years have seen excellent placements for very good packages. College administration is making all efforts to serve the students best. Moreover students are also allowed to apply for off campus placements, until, and have bagged very good opportunities.
VIT Pune consists of 4 buildings, 2 canteens, 1 lawn, and 1 ground. The college campus is not too big but is sufficient. The departments are distributed in various buildings. The campus also has a gym and a library. Wi-Fi is also available. The classrooms and labs are very spacious.
Being an autonomous college, the college has structured the syllabus with an industry point of view. The courses taught are really useful with respect to the industry. The exam focuses more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Practical exams have more weightage than theoretical exams.
Due to the academics, students are industry-ready. Also, many big companies visit the college and provide good packages to the students. Many companies from every field come to the campus and take the students with their necessary requirements.
I think the course cost per year is value for money. The academics, facilities provided by the college are worth every single rupee. The kind of education provided is of very high quality.
The college life is really amazing. There are multiple clubs and event bodies present in the college which are really good and also helps in your development in other fields other than academics. The teachers and staff are very helpful.
Overall, I would rate VIT Pune 5/5.
Hotel is far from college . So many prefer living as paying guests nearby. Locality is not that good slum area. People from slum use same road as college students . But still people are good and live in Harmony.
Very good teachers, excellent labs. Teachers design syllabus according to company requirements so everything is updated. It s a autonomous college so more focus is on practical learning than on exams .
If you're a cse or IT placement is awesome here. Placements for civil are worst. Placement coordinator s are good. College also organises various coding aptitude tests for students to get familar with placements and interviews.
College ground is small. And campus is small too so no fun. But you will get what you have come for. Best teachers and staff . Hod's are cool in cse and try to understand your problems. Attendance is issue but still not an issue if you know basic maths and calculate 75% .
Campus is good and clean. Green andclean campus. Grounds are small but college has a cricket ground and basketball court. Gym is broken . Canteen food sucks but you have many food corners around so its fine.
Nice college . Promotes overall growth and development. Many extra curricular activities are held here. So you will not get bored by any chance. Overall if you're interested its a good college. Above all it depends on you what you can achieve college is just an path finder
College is well equipped with various conputer labs and also with company sponsored labs, facilities are also good, library is full of books necessary for the students of all the years. Sports facilities are well enough. The college campus is maintained clean and food available at the college canteen is hygienic and tasty.
We as students are learning a very pratical based curriculum so to ease at placement process. As college is Autonomous more practical based and useful content is added in curriculum and we get a hands on experience for every subject and there is a good industry connect of college.
Placements at the college at very good as due the academics at the college and the industry-college connections are very good and the college has many industry sponsored labs for students to be industry ready at the time of placement. Also many extra curricular activities are taken at college to make the student develop from all aspects to get placement ready.
The regular fee is about ₹1,55,000 and fees vary for the different categories. The college fee is worth as it provides right facilities and the teaching facilities are very good. Also due to higher average salary provided by the college it is worth studying in VIIT.
Campus life is full of enjoyment and one can refresh in the campus after a busy day at college by hanging out in campus and in canteen also. Students, teachers and the other staff is also vary generous and always helping in nature. The campus is safe and has a doctor at college itself.
Overall the college is best for the course the student is willing to make his career in.
All necessary requirements are fulfilled in the college. The campus is clean and hygienic. Libraries labs are well equipped with required material. Facilities are available nearby and in the campus starting from hostels to general stores and restaurants as well. Please read the whole review to understand more about an innovative place for students, VIIT.
Great teaching staff in both educating and ethics. Most of them are PhD and have an expertise in their field. All of them guide any student whenever in need. Curriculum is ofcourse updated as it is a slightly different type of college where syllabus is decided by the college like in autonomy, but you get the certificate of Pune University. In case of job readiness, the college takes special efforts considering workshops, sessions by eminent personalities which help inculcate good ethical values.
Placements are awesome for both VIT, Pune and VIIT. CS IT students as always stand high in placements which can be around 20+LPA to maximum of around 40 LpA which was in around 2018. The college takes efforts to bring in good companies every year. Many students get placed in a firm where they can get good future experience as well! You can say, Placement cell is the USP of the college.
Depends, the fee structure is fine. Not too much. Similar to all other colleges like PVG(Pune), VIT(Pune), PICT,etc.
Students expect playgrounds, which are ofcourse present in the college. 2 large playgrounds, a basketball court and different sports are in the college like TT, Cricket, etc. The college sports staff encourages students to take part in different competitions from zonals to nationals, to represent the college is a good opportunity. Support staff is also nice. The college is located in Kondhwa or UpperIndiranagar, Pune and it has required security guards, sometimes bouncers as well to control mobs
Fantastic! Go for it!?
We have a small campus. But classrooms and all are very nice. Labs are also well equipped. But we have a very tiny campus. We have a small canteen outside college building. Campus Is hygienic. You don't need to worry about that. Also it is in one of the best area in Pune.
Academics is very good here. All faculties are well trained. Many guest lectures and seminars are also conducted here. We get many practical knowledge too by working on real life projects. Faculties are also very supportive.
As long as you maintain good marks and good communication skill, You will grab a good placement. Many well known companies come to our campus. We get regular trainings for mock and interview rounds. It helps us.
