VEC is among the premier institutions offering a multitude of programs in engineering and management, it has begun to evolve into a pedestal of technical education in Andhra Pradesh. The college has laid down a sound admission process for the purpose of electing worthy candidates for its different programs.  The admission seasons at VEC normally follow the academic calendar of Andhra Pradesh universities. For undergraduate courses, the admissions generally begin after the announcement of AP EAMCET results, usually around May-June, while M.Tech programs follow almost the same time for admissions depending on the AP PGECET and APICET schedule.

Different programs have different eligibility criteria. In the case of B.Tech, candidates must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. An M.Tech applicant is expected to have a B.Tech or an equivalent degree in a relevant field. For an MBA, one needs to have a graduate degree in any field.

Entrance scores through various routes are accepted by VEC for different programs:

1. B.Tech: AP EAMCET
2. M.Tech: AP PGECET or GATE
3. MBA: APICET

Application Process

The application process for Visvodaya Engineering College varies based on the program and category of admission:

For B.Tech (A-Category): 

1. Qualify AP EAMCET 
2. Participate in web counseling conducted by AP EAMCET convenor 
3. Choose VEC and preferred course during counseling 
4. If allotted, report to the college for document verification and admission

For B.Tech (B-Category):

1. Apply directly to the college
2. Submit required documents and pay application fee
3. Admission based on inter marks and AP EAMCET score (if available)

For M.Tech (A-Category):

1. Qualify GATE or AP PGECET
2. Participate in web counseling
3. Choose VEC and preferred specialization
4. If allotted, complete admission formalities at the college

For M.Tech (B-Category):

1. Apply directly to VEC
2. Submit required documents including GATE/PGECET score
3. Admission based on merit and availability of seats

For MBA:

1. Qualify APICET
2. For A-Category, participate in APICET counseling
3. For B-Category, apply directly to VEC
4. Submit required documents and complete admission process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: VEC offers several B.Tech programs including Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech admissions are as follows:-70% of seats are filled through AP EAMCET counseling (A-Category)-30% of seats are reserved for NRI/Management quota (B-Category)-Diploma holders can get lateral admission to the second year through ECET (10% additional).

M.Tech: Programs offered are M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Highway Engineering and VLSI Design. Admission process consists of:-A-Category seats filled through counseling for AP PGECET/GATE-B-Category seats filled by college management as per APSCHE guidelines-Admissions given based on GATE/PGCET rank and following eligibility rules set by JNTUA

For MBA: The admission process for the MBA program at VEC is as follows:-A-Category admissions will be done through counseling on the basis of APICET-B-Category admissions will be under the College Management based on APSCHE guidelines-Spot admissions shall be conducted for B-Category seats as per the given guidelines.
