Viswanadha Institute of Technology and Management (VITAM), Visakhapatnam, is one such prominent engineering college that has its affiliation with Andhra University. VITAM offers different undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in engineering disciplines. Application for VITAM varies depending on the course:
For B.Tech courses:
1. Pass the relevant engineering entrance examination (state-level or national-level).

For M.Tech courses:

3. Fill in the application form and attach all documents.
4. Pay the fee as specified by the institute.
5. Post the completed application form along with supporting documents.
6. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
7. Final selection is based on GATE score and interview performance (if called).
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: VITAM offers five B.Tech programs: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Admission mode for B.Tech programs is likely through performance in state-level or national-level engineering entrance tests. The intake capacity varies by program:
M.Tech: VITAM has three M.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Structural Engineering. All these courses have an intake of 18 seats. Admission to M.Tech programs is usually on the basis of GATE scores, with a possible interview afterwards. The candidate must possess a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree.
