    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure, facilities and equipment of VESIT is upto the mark. It's well maintained. Food hygiene is considered as the main aspect for students health. We had wifi in entire college including canteen, library, classrooms, labs etc. Hostels were near by college premises so students didn't have problem to reach college on time as well as could access to mess in their hostel. So it's a well planned infrastructure.

    Academics

Vivekanand college follows Mumbai University syllabus and it's pretty same for all the engineering colleges in the city. I have completed my electronics and telecommunication engg bachelor's degree from here. Teaching stuff has got some experienced teachers as well as few new ones. It's a balance. It's makes yoh job ready if you participate in co- curriculum activities of your department. Extc students have been encouraged to participate in intercollegiate competitions as well to enhance skills

    Placements

The average salary offered is 3.5 lacs to 4 lacs per annum. And the highest is 12 lacs per annum. We had placement Training sessions to prepare us for these competitive placements. 60-70% people who seat for placements gets placed in an average companies atleast. Rest depends on your interpersonal and technical skills. Opportunities are wide here. Staff is also supportive here.

    Value for Money

Course cost was 96k on an average. It's same for all the engineering colleges in the city. I would say I feel engineering course being a heavy course you do get value for money here. Because you can fetch good placement from this college. At the end, with knowledge money matters as well? so placements is good.

    Campus Life

The teachers and staff are pretty strict here. 75% attendance is compulsory not matter what. If you fail to do that, strict actions are been taken. Students engagement is good here. You get to explore a lot in here. College campus in near residential area so it's completely safe. It's 15-20 mins away from kurla railway station as well as chembur railway station. Emergencies can be dealt properly. You need not worry once you enter the campus. It's safe for girls too.

    Others

I had best days in this college for 4 long years. Crowd is little competitive because you are into top college of Mumbai University. And it has become first private institute in the state. Overall, this college helps you grow extraordinary personality too.

Vesit will provide you a great exposure in the four years.

    College Infrastructure

Vesit is among the best colleges of mumbai. The building has 5 floors, however the new wing has 7 floors. There are classrooms, labs, smart classrooms, canteen, auditorium, amphitheatre, library, ground, wifi, etc.

    Academics

Vesit has some really experienced teachers, many of them with phd. They have good knowledge of the subjects and each teacher has their unique way to interact with the students with some being quite strict while some being too lenient.

    Placements

The placement statistics of the college are really good. The college takes extra efforts to build up the student's resume and also help students with the internships. They have a placement cell with incharges who make sure that almost all the students are well placed.

    Value for Money

The fees isnt really high. For a student of general category, it is around one lakh per year. And yes, the students' get their money's worth without any doubt. The fees is much lesser for other reserved categories.

    Campus Life

The second floor of the building is where students happen to spend their time, ie, at the amphitheater. There is a boys as well as a girl's common room. There is place for carrom and table tennis. The canteen is also hygienic.

Have a question related to VESIT Mumbai ?

    Hi

    hope you doing well

Getting admission to the B.Tech CSE program at Swami Vivekanand College with 70% in your 12th boards and 70 percentile in JEE Mains  might be challenging if it's a highly competitive institution. Admission to private colleges like Swami Vivekanand College typically depends on their specific cutoffs, which vary based on the number of applicants and seat availability.

However, many private engineering colleges also consider management quota or offer seats through counseling processes that may be flexible regarding entrance exam scores. You can check the specific cutoff of the college for CSE and inquire about alternative admission pathways.

    Best wishes.
