Vivekananda Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET) Keesara is one of the predominate engineering institutes of Telangana. With a plethora of engineering programs for under-graduate, post-graduate, and diploma levels, VIET selects licensed candidates under its admission policies for various technical programs.  The admission process for VIET is generally followed under the academic calendar of Telangana state universities; the admission is expected to begin months after the result announcement of the qualifying examinations. Application Process

The application process for Vivekananda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Keesara varies from one program to another.

For B.Tech programs:

1. Prepare and appear for the TS EAMCET examination expected to be held on April 28-29-2025.
2. Register for-state-level counseling process after announcement of TS EAMCET results.

Admission Process Degree-wise

B.Tech: For the B.Tech level, there are seven engineering specializations available in VIET, namely, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering. Admission to any of these programs is dependent mainly on the candidates' TS EAMCET-based admission scores. The intake varies from branch to branch; however, Computer Science and Engineering has 60 seats, Electronics and Communications Engineering has 120 seats, and Information Technology also has 60 seats.

M.Tech: The institute has five M.Tech specializations: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems, and Power Electronics and Electrical Drives. Though specifics are not necessarily mentioned, M.Tech admissions, for the most part, across the region do consider GATE scores or take their own entrance test.
