VITS Karimnagar Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Vivekananda Institute of Technology and Science (VITS Karimnagar) has a very systematic yet transparent process for admission to its various engineering programs. It is an AICTE-approved institution offering a plethora of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the engineering and technology streams.

The admission process of VITS Karimnagar is based mainly on merit and entrance examination score Admissions to the undergraduate programs at the institute are based on the state-level TS EAMCET entrance exam. The PG admissions depend on TS PGECET.

For B.Tech programs, 70% of total seats are offered through centralized counseling conducted by the Government of Telangana. The remaining 30% are filled by the college management on the basis of ranking by TS EAMCET or merit in the intermediate (10+2). Admissions to the diploma are conducted based on TS POLYCET. Admission for B.Tech lateral entry courses is offered on TS ECET.

Application Process

The application process of VITS Karimnagar will be different for several programs:

For B.Tech programs:

1. Appear for TS EAMCET conducted by TSCHE.

2. Qualify with the required rank/score.

3. For government quota (70% seats):

• Participate in the centralized counseling process conducted by TSCHE.
• Choose VITS Karimnagar and preferred course during counseling.

4. For management quota (30% seats):   

• Apply directly to the college with TS EAMCET score or intermediate marks.
• Attend counseling at the college if shortlisted.

For admission into the Diploma:

1. Appear for TS POLYCET.
2. Apply through the centralized admission process conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana.
3. Select VITS Karimnagar and preferred course during counseling.

For M.Tech programs:

1. Appear for TS PGECET.
2. Apply through the centralized admission process conducted by TSCHE.
3. Select VITS Karimnagar and preferred specialization during counseling.

Degree-wise Admission process

B.Tech: VITS Karimnagar has six B.Tech programs and a total intake of 360 seats. The procedure for admission is:

1. 70% of seats through government counseling based on TS EAMCET ranks.
2. 30% by college management through TS EAMCET score or intermediate merit.
3. Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
4. Some specializations available are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 
5. Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Diploma: This institute has four diploma programs with a total intake of 240 seats. Admissions are made based on TS POLYCET scores. Available specializations are:

1. Computer Science and Engineering
2. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
3. Civil Engineering
4. Electronics and Communications Engineering

M.Tech: VITS Karimnagar gives two M.Tech programs with a total intake of 18 seats. Admissions are based on TS PGECET scores. The available specializations are:

2. Machine Design
