WIT Solapur Placements 2024 - Highest Package, Average Package, Student Placed

WIT Solapur has a training and placement department that provides placement opportunities to the students. The WIT Solapur placement cell assists students with summer and final placements by inviting recruiters to campus and having guest lectures from reputable industry executives. As per the NIRF 2023 report, 427 UG students and 1 PG student were placed during WIT Solapur placements. 

Walchand Institute of Technology placement cell organises technical sessions, career development programmes, and guest lectures on a regular basis, with the help of industry professionals, on topics such as personality development, resume writing, group discussions and interview strategies. 

Some of the functions of the placement cell are to provide funding to students for a range of projects and internships/in-plant training programmes across multiple industries, to give students the chance to collaborate with business experts in the field of their choice and to make each student at least one employment offer. • Companies are invited to visit the campus for placements by the training and placement department.

• Regarding the day and time of their visit to the campus, the companies/organisations affirm.

• The names of the companies/organisations and the placement date are disclosed to the students.

• The placement drives are held by the companies/organisations on the specified date.

• Pre-placement talks are short talks given to students about how the company operates and the jobs that they offer.

• Interested parties must submit a CV to the company.

• Those who made the short list are invited to campus interviews and group discussions.

• Prospective employees receive job offers from the firms or organisations that recruit them.

There were a total of 442 offers which were received by the students of Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur.
