Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: The 4-year B.Sc Nursing course at Westfort College of Nursing has an approved strength of 75 seats. Admission to the course is on the basis of the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum percentage as stipulated by the Indian Nursing Council and the Kerala Nursing Council.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This 2-year course has an approved intake of 10 seats. It is meant for registered nurses who want to enhance their qualifications. Applicants should have passed a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and hold a valid registration as a nurse and midwife.
M.Sc Nursing: Westfort College of Nursing provides five specializations in M.Sc Nursing, each with an approved intake of 2 seats.
The specializations are:
1. M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing
2. M.Sc Community Health Nursing
3. M.Sc Paediatric Nursing
4. M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing
5. M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing
Admission to these postgraduate courses is generally on the basis of the candidate's performance in their B.Sc Nursing degree, entrance examination marks (if applicable), and any other requirements specified by the college or the affiliating university.
