Yashwant Ayurvedic College , as a postgraduate training and research centre, which has made it a great institute for Ayurvedic education and research. The academic year at Yashwant Ayurvedic College usually starts in August-September, but the admission process usually starts a few months earlier, generally in May-June. The student should have done 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible for undergraduate admission. Normally, they should have got a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Postgraduates can apply only when they have obtained their BAMS or equivalent qualification from any reputed university.
Application Process
The application process varies with the program for Yashwant Ayurvedic College:
For BAMS:

PhD Courses:
1. Look for PhD admission notifications on the website of the college
2. Fill the application form for PhD which can be downloaded from the website of the college.
3. Send all the necessary documents such as postgraduate degree certificates, research proposal, and other documents needed
4. Pay the application fee for PhD.
5. Attend entrance tests and/or interviews as notified by the college.
6. In case of selection, process the admission by paying the admission fee and submitting other documents if any.
The Admission process at the University is entirely merit-based. Admission through entrance exam scores later followed by document verification and in some cases interviews or additional tests for postgraduate and doctoral programs.
Degree wise Admission Process
BAMS: The college accepts candidates into its BAMS course based on their NEET score. It provides 100 seats for the flagship course. Candidate must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and clear the NEET examination.
MD/MS: Yashwant Ayurvedic College offers 13 MD courses and 2 MS courses. The admission for postgraduate programs is based mostly on NEET PG scores. A few courses are also considering AIAPGET scores. Generally, each specialization has 6 seats, and in the case of MS Shalya Tantra, there are 12 seats.
PhD: The college offers 8 PhD programs in different Ayurvedic specializations. Admission to PhD programs is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in entrance tests and interviews conducted by the college. Generally, each PhD program has 3-6 seats available.
