Dental radiography is the study of radiographs related to teeth which are used by a dentist to check the oral health of a patient. Dental radiographs help dentists to find issues in our teeth like cavities, tooth decay and impacted teeth. These can also help the dentists to find the diseases and developmental problems before they become a critical issue. This radiography requires a very low level of radiation exposure.

For Undergraduate Courses:
The applicants must have the completion certificate of class 10th and 12th majoring in Science stream with Physics, Maths, Biology and Chemistry with a minimum aggregate of 50-60 per cent from an established institute and recognized board in the country.
Age limit – Should be above 17 years.
Admission will take place based on the candidate’s merit, and a few colleges might conduct an entrance test to select the required and eligible applicants. These tests shall be conducted at both the university level and the national level.
For Postgraduate Courses -
The applicants must have possession of a completion certificate of an undergraduate degree in radiography with at least 55 per cent marks from a recognized university.
Candidates will have to participate in the Entrance exams like NEET, AIIMS Entrance Test, etc. to get admitted in college for M.Sc., M.S., MD programs.
Counselling can be taken after entrance examination for the admission in colleges for postgraduate.

AIIMS Radiography Entrance Exam - This is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences. To get admitted in AIIMS this exam can be taken. This exam can be taken for UG and PG level in Radiography.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET) - This exam is conducted for students to study medical courses and dental courses in government colleges, private colleges and dental colleges.
