Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUAT), Faizabad, is one of the renowned state universities which specializes in agricultural education and research. The university offers a lot of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in diversified spheres of agriculture, veterinary science, and engineering. The admission process of ANDUAT is tailor-made to identify and accommodate exceptionally talented and deserved candidates in the respective field from across India. Usually, the admission cycle at ANDUAT goes along with the academic calendar of Indian universities, and most of the programs start in August-September. The admission applications are made through various national-level entrance tests, depending upon the program. 

The application for undergraduate programs is through the JEE Main for engineering courses, whereas for other programs there may be special entrance tests. For B.Tech Programs:

4. Upload all the required documents, including the JEE Main score card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, and others as prescribed.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Submit the complete application form.

For M.Tech, M.Sc, M.V.Sc and Ph.D Programs:

1. Log into the official ANDUAT website and look for admission notifications.
2. Register on the university's admission portal.
3. Fill in the online application form for the program of choice.
4. Upload all relevant documents including degree mark sheets, scores of entrance exams (if applicable) etc.
5. Pay the application fee via any of the listed online payment options.
6. Finally, submit the application form and take a hard copy for future reference.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: The selection for the B.Tech programs in ANDUAT is based on the performance of candidates in JEE Main. The university offers B.Tech programs for Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math and qualified JEE Main for eligibility.

M.Tech: ANDUAT offers M.Tech programs in various specializations of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering. Admissions are usually granted based on GATE scores or an entrance test conducted by the university, followed by an interview. Candidates should have a B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant field.

M.Sc: A number of M.Sc programs are offered by the university in each of the agricultural and allied disciplines; admission is based on an entrance examination conducted by the university. The specializations in ANDUAT include Horticulture, Forestry, Agronomy, Crop Physiology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Entomology and many others. Candidates for these programs must have an appropriate Bachelor's degree.

M.V.Sc: The university offers programs leading to M.V.Sc in several disciplines of veterinary sciences. Admission is done through an entrance exam conducted by the university and followed by an interview. These specializations include Veterinary Microbiology, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, among others. Candidates should hold a B.V.Sc degree from a recognized university.

Ph.D.: The university offers doctoral-level programs in a wide gamut of agriculture, veterinary sciences, and engineering. The evaluation of the candidate's performance in a written test and/or interview conducted by the university gives way to admission. Candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant field.
