Smart class rooms are available affiliated with Air Conditioner. Practical Laboratories are there for UG and PG studies seperately, Many Wifi is present in all the Departments. There is enough equipment for 30 Students at a time. Hostels are daily cleaned and food quality is really appreciable with canteen available from morning to evening.

It is one of best Agricultural Universities in the State. It has may farms and fields in all over the state on various crops. For Post Graduate and PhD students, enough plots are there for their research. Classes are good with many practical experiences present in all the Departments. Professors are very friendly and experienced.

Placements are Fairly average in this institute as a lot of students are there. There is chances for ADO , AFO and Bank Manager Jobs, entrepreneurship. Grest scope for higher studies and RESEARCH AND IFFCO.

As it's a government college, the institute is very cost effective

College have very good Infrastructure with sufficient Laboratories equipment. Free wifi in the Campus and in the hostels also . Classrooms have also White boards along with smart boards . Rooms in hostels and bathrooms are cleaned every week and foods are good in quality.

I am a student of bsc agriculture in 2nd year, and as india is a agriculture depended country so i decided to contribute my best for development of agriculture of india for next generation. Proffers and associated teachers are very friendly to the students & they also arrange doubt clearing classes for the students.

From my adjacent seniors i came to know that placement in Bidhan chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is average and in placement cell students from Bsc , Msc, Phd can get chance in NABARD , IARI , IBPS , AFO,IFFCO & other private companies.

College has all necessary infrastructure.library,sport centres and hostels are there.Free wifi present in the campus.living spaces in the hostel are clean and food is of top quality.smart boards are also present in the classroom.

My own experience for academics is not so good. I am studying here in BSc Agriculture .In my view,teaching is of average quality.Extra curriculums are present .Here job is easy to get if you study hard.Course is a difficult type,but everyday study can get good reports after year end.

Placements are present in the campus.Qood quality placements are provided to the students after graduation.80 percent above marks are eligible for placements.Highest salary given is 13 lakhs per annum.average salary offered is 5 lakhs per annum initially.

BCKV has one of the best infrastructure among all of the agricultural universities.. Condition of faculties are excellent, free wifi , smart board , and well equipped laboratories. hostels and food quality is good....

Academics is good, quality of teaching is excellent, they explain every concept very clearly. Even they prepare students for JRF , SRF like exams , and other competition .. overall experience is amazing

My experience about placement is just okayish type. Different seed companies and private banks and pesticide companies haire the students.. but the package is average, not so good ... overall it is good

Total expenses are very minimal . the overall coarse is affordable for every type of students. semester fee is approximately 7k..

Waahhh it is the most beautiful part of college life. Here in BCKV , campus life is amazing.

Our faculty building have smart class room facilities, free wifi services, high quality laboratory facilities and lift facility. Food available in hostels are hygienic and campus is plastic free. Our library is East Asia's largest Library.

I am pursuing Agriculture honors. Our course curriculum is updated with ICAR norms. I was interacted in agriculture. Our professors are too much qualified to make us ready for high paid jobs. We are lucky to have such academic facilities.

Various seed , fertilizer, agribusiness, agritech companies are hiring BCKV graduates actively. Most of our seniors are placed in different companies. Others are selected as Assistant director of Agriculture, Agriculture field officers in banks, Junior research fellowship.

Yes, our college have necessary equipments in laboratory. There are wifi facilities , smart class room facilities in ou faculty building. Our campus is hygenic and free from plastic wastes and Parthenium.

I am studying B.Sc. Agriculture due to my interest in agricultural science. Our course curriculum is updated with the ICAR norms. Yes pur teachers and professors are highly qualified and used to make us ready for jobs.

Different famous companies such as food, agriculture, seed fertilizers and other Cooperatives used to offer jobs to our graduates. Most of our seniors are placed in different famous banks and alos settled as assistant director of agriculture , Agriculture field officers on national banks

Besides having all the necessary infrastructural and technical facility ,our university has subject specific lab along with modern equipments and accessaries.The library is nurished with different types of books and journals.The whole university campus is pleased with numerous no of trees and flowering plants

I am studying in Agriculture faculty which is definitely an applied science oriented course .In our university the relation between teacher-student is strong enough and they help us with all the possible necessities.The entire curiculum of our faculty and the others faculties are well updated which helps us to understand the present day situatuation more efficiently.

The placement quality has become poor for the last few years. Amount of job opportunity providing by eminent companies is low now a days. The sallary package offered by companies is comperatively lower in most of the cases.

The amount of fees paid by the student as course cost has been increased from previous year.The present course fee for Agriculture Faculty is 6775/- per Semester which may create a hurdle for those students which are economically poor.

The university is enriched with high cultural flavours where different types of occasions such as Independence day,teachers' Day etc. are celebrated with a beautiful grace.It hold a healthy ecosystem of Teacher-students,Senior-juniors and so on..The place where it is located is definitely safe from external or internal any problems. All the members possess a clear vision on gender equality and openmindness.

Inspite having some problems related placement and fees,the overall quality of the university is very good.Different faculty like Agriculture,Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering gives the students a wide opportunity to expose them into the higher educational stream.

Our University maintains a wide standard regarding basic amenities required by students. It provides good hostel with well acquainted rooms and other basic facilities required for residential structures. Besides it has Gymnasium, a health centre etc.

A rich and diverse ecosystem of Professors and other teaching person. Academics is fine, however some basic facilities regarding laboratory remains missing. Exams are conducted regularly. Coaching for JRF, SRF by faculties are very helpful.

The only drawback is regarding placement. Placement cell is very weak, and it remains probably inactive in terms of providing the scope of campus placement to students. However in recent years it will steadily reviving.

Semester fees has been increased from my time. It is now 6775/Semester which eventually comes as hurdle in some of the economically weak students.

A great experience overall, good relations with friends, seniors , juniors, teachers along with the scintillating games that nature play in the lap of BCKV makes it a wonderful experience.

A Great institution to cultivate agriculture.

College have average infrastructure. There is lack of wifi and laboratories have lack of maintenance. Living space is more or less clean and food is good.In labs there are lack of chemicals and many instruments are broken and they are not repaired.

I am studying agriculture and the teaching quality of professors are great. The curriculum is updated but not all updates are added in it. This study make you ready for job too. Teachers are very helpful.

Different companies and banks comes here for placement purpose but students are not that mut interested in corporate jobs. I have no idea about salary package but recently placements are done in college and our college is very supportive about it.

Per semester the exam fee is around Rs.6700 which is very less than other agricultural colleges and I think my money is getting worthy

Here campus life is very good and enjoyable. The campus is in a safe position and the communication and transport with other cities is good. There are so many extra curricular activities and students, staffs,teachers all participate in it and teachers and staffs are very cooperative.

Though there is some lack of infrastructure and in academics but overall it is a renowned state agricultural University and every year many students crack different entrance exams and other all India level competitive exams.

Yes,in this college have more facilities and equipments and also good infastructure.It is one of the reason I am joining this college. Mainly the reason is they provide projector for easy way to understand the subject.

College faculty are so good, they are so friendly you can meet them anytime in college hours and you can even text them if you have any doubt reagrding subject. Faculty are so great and knowlegable, everyday you will be taught in a new way which help student understand the topic easily.

Placement here are average. I actually don't know much about placement but what I heard about this placement is that the placement are average companies do come but not much students are placed but still it's good.

Campus life is good. There are fests in college. One fest every year is organized. Teachers are student friendly and helpful. Yes location is very safe.

Overall very good for Agriculture.
