Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the Master’s degree in Biological Sciences or Allied Disciplines with Minimum 55% Marks (5% relaxation for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), differently abled candidates). UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degrees) Regulations, 2016 and as amended from time to time will be applicable.
