MA Sociology at CUSB Offline Course

This is a two-year full-time postgraduate course of Central University of South Bihar, Patna

The two year (four semesters) Post Graduate Programme is designed to equip the students with knowledge and skill in the field of Sociology. The courses have been developed consistent with the rapid transformations the world is under going in the process of globalisation. It is imperative that we comprehend these changes and development by a theoretical grasp of phenomena and by studying them with some methodological maturity. It primarily includes three aspects of sociological studies - Theory and Social Thought; Methods of Social Research; and Dimensions of Social Life. Interdisciplinary orientation is reflected in the structure as well as in the contents of the courses offered at M.A. level.
