Nalanda Open University (NOU) Patna provides admission to B.A.(Hons), B.Sc.(Hons), B.Com Hons, B.Lib.I.Sc, BBA, BCA, MCA, M.Com, M.Sc and PGD courses. Nalanda Open University Course admissions will be made based on the student's performance in the qualifying examination or on the other criteria of selection prescribed by the university. NOU admissions are done online or offline by visiting the campus.

While filling out the form, students have to scan and upload the given documents
After submitting the application form, the payment page will be opened and only paid applications will be accepted.

In 2013, Nalanda Open University's academic infrastructure was basic. It featured a functional library, administrative offices, and minimal classrooms suitable for distance learning. However, the digital resources were limited, making it challenging to access study materials online. Admissions to an MA program in Delhi university is done through and entrance examination that is conducted by the university in the month of June, most probably in the first.
The entrance is conducted for 50% of the available seats as the other 50% are reserved for students of the university who are selected in merit basis for these seats.
Students can apply for the Delhi University PG Courses through online mode only.
