CSK HPKV Facilities

Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya provides ample facilities for students, staff and faculty members. CSK HPKV Palampur facilities include boys hostel, girls hostel, library, medical clinic, sports, etc. The university provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls students. The hostels are well-ventilated and are equipped with all basic facilities like furniture and appliances. Hostel wardens look after the security and safety of hostels and students. CCTV cameras are also installed at the hostel block. Wi-fi, television, indoor games, mess are also provided in the hostels. Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya facilities include a central library. The library has a vast collection of both print and online resources. Both indoor and outdoor games facilities are available at CSK HPKV Palampur.

Boys Hostel
CSK HPKV Palampur hostel facilities are also available for international students. The hostels are looked after by qualified hostel wardens. The hostels have a mess, computer room, equipped with computers, CCTV cameras, washing machines. Recreational facilities like television and indoor games are also available. The hostels are fully enabled with wi-fi.
Girls Hostel
The university also provides hostel facilities for girls. For the security and safety of the hostels and their students, CCTV cameras are installed. Faculty members have been appointed as hostel wardens. Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya girls hostel facilities include wi-fi, computers, furniture, appliances, etc. Television and indoor games as recreational facilities are also available.
Medical/Hospital
The university has an on-campus medical clinic. CSK HPKV Palampur health centre in collaboration with Vivekanand Medical Research Institute and Specialty Hospital, Palampur, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, Sub-Divisional Hospital, Palampur and Zonal Hospital, Dharamshala provide emergency medical services.
Library
CSK HPKV Palampur is well-stocked with resources like books, textbooks, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, e-books, e-theses, online databases, etc. For online resources, the library has subscriptions of CeRA (Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture), CAB Abstract and many more. Library uses KOHA software integrated with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) for managing the daily administrative work. The university library has also been designated as FAQ Repository by FAO.
Sports
Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya sports department provides games like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. Courts and fields are maintained especially for outdoor games. There is also a 400 metres standard track.
Physical Challenged Student
College have ramps and lifts in its 80% of the building for the physical challenged students.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good there classes are air conditioned, labs are big and labs contains all the new required instruments, hostel is good and in hostel there is free wifi available, free wifi is also available in campus but there in some place wifi blocker is also present, university has big sports ground for playing games

For Bsc Hons Agriculture it is a good choice

College Infrastructure

4 stars to the College infrastructure because the building are old but they are big and university has a great library in which there are lakhs of books of all fields and the library is like a heaven for a book enthusiastic personality students, hostel are there but they do not provide much sports facilities in hostel

College Infrastructure

Yes my college is located in palampur, had all the necessary equipment, facilities like library and infrastructure. The campus was fully wified and they all were maintained. Living spaces like club room, classroom were all neat and clean
