Question paper is divided into two parts, namely Part A and Part B:
Part A consists of 10 Questions where a student is required to write only the answer and not the complete solution.
Part B consists of 6 Questions where one has to write the complete solutions of the questions.
Also, Part B is graded only if a student scores a particular minimum marks (as decided by CMI) in Part A.
For further queries regarding the same, do let me know through comment section.
CMI does not disclose the particular cutoff for admission . However, when the exam is over, answer sheets of all the students are checked and then the top Y students are selected for admission to its various programmes (UG, PG, etc.) [where Y = no. of students to be selected (decided by CMI)].
