Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (Kanpur) medical cutoff depends on category:

• For General (UR): usually above 580+ marks.
• OBC: around 570+ marks.
• SC: 450–480 marks, and ST:  430–460 marks.

You can apply for admission in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) , but your NEET score of 248 is quite low.

As you are from Punjab, you will be considered under the All India Quota. The chances of getting a BDS seat in CSJMU with this score are very low, as the cut-off is usually much higher.
