They need to work on improvement.

    College Infrastructure

Doon University’s infrastructure is good, but it doesn’t really stand out. The campus has the necessary things covered, like classrooms and labs, but I think it could benefit from more modern facilities. For me, it felt okay but not something you’d be excited about. The library had a good collection, though, which was a plus when preparing for exams.Hostels were also average and wifi connectivity was not that great.

    Academics

The academic side of things was pretty average. The syllabus covered the usual topics, but I sometimes felt that the content could be a little more updated to reflect current business trends. The faculty was knowledgeable, but the teaching style didn’t always make the classes very engaging. If you’re someone who prefers a more interactive learning experience, you might feel it’s a bit traditional.

    Placements

When it came to placements, the university offered some opportunities, but they were quite limited. Not a lot of big companies came to recruit, which was disappointing for those of us looking for broader job options. It’s an area where I think Doon University could improve to give students better career prospects.

    Value for Money

One thing I appreciated about Doon University was that the fees were quite reasonable, especially for a BBA course. It was affordable compared to other universities, making it a good option if you’re looking to get a degree without breaking the bank. You definitely get what you pay for, so it’s fair in that regard.

    Campus Life

Campus life was relatively calm, with occasional events and festivals, but it wasn’t very happening. There were a few clubs and activities, but I expected more in terms of student engagement and social life. If you’re looking for a vibrant college experience with lots of interaction and events, this might feel a little slow.

I completed the Chinese course at Doon University, and I found it to be a great value for the money. The facilities were top-notch. The classrooms and language labs were equipped with modern technology that enhanced our learning experience. The resources available really helped in practicing and improving my languages.

    Academics

For all language courses the course was well-designed, covering everything from basic grammar and vocabulary to more advanced conversational skills. I appreciated how the curriculum was structured to build a solid foundation and prepare us for practical use of the language. The professors were exceptional knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. Their clear explanations and engaging teaching style made learning Chinese enjoyable and effective.

    Placements

While the course itself did not include direct placement assistance, the skills and knowledge gained are highly valued in the job market. The university’s career services offer support for finding opportunities that leverage language skills, which was beneficial.

    Value for Money

The course was reasonably priced, especially given the high quality of instruction and resources. I felt that the skills and cultural insights I gained were well worth the investment. It was total worth it.

    Campus Life

There were numerous events, clubs, and activities that provided opportunities to engage with other students and explore new interests. The campus environment was supportive and conducive to both academic and personal growth.

    College Infrastructure

During my time at Doon University, the infrastructure, especially for management students, needed better maintenance without a proper building. Now, they have a separate department for management, but class availability was limited back then. The hostels were affordable, but the food quality could have better .Also, there weren't many places to eat on campus. We only had one spot for Maggi and buns, and a small canteen with limited food choices.

    Academics

I finished my MBA at Doon University. Some teachers were good, but others didn't know enough and couldn't teach us practical skills. The curriculum was updated, but overall, we didn't learn much at the university and had to practice on our own.

    Placements

When it comes to placements, the language department at our university has a very good placement rate. Even students from outside the campus come here for certification courses in the language department. Management students also have good placement opportunities, but other departments lack sufficient placements. It's important for the university to improve placement quality to maintain its ranking and reputation.

    Value for Money

The fees were quite high for a state government college, and I don't feel it was justified. Regardless of the amount, what mattered to me was that I didn't see the value in what I paid for the quality of education and placement opportunities provided. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth in return.

    Campus Life

The campus life at the college is amazing for me. I find the beauty of the campus very appealing, especially with its well-maintained plantations. However, I feel the staff could be more supportive. One of the worst aspects is the delay in providing mark sheets or degrees to students, which requires a lot of running around.

    Others

Also, I want to mention that there are no festivals or fun activities that could make the experience better for students. It would be good if the college could work on improving this.

Back then, the infrastructure was old and needed a lot of improvements. The hostels were not great, lacking proper facilities. The campus had a small canteen with limited services that didn't meet students' needs well.

    Academics

I completed my MBA from Doon University, and I find it valuable because the teachers are very knowledgeable and know their subjects well. The curriculum is updated, which helps in learning the latest trends and skills easily.

    Placements

I was disappointed to learn that the placement rate was quite low during my time. I've heard that it's improved now, but back then, there weren't many placement opportunities available. Despite this, my learning experience was smooth and straightforward.

    Value for Money

It was definitely worth the money because the fees were very reasonable when I did my MBA. It was much more affordable compared to other colleges offering similar programs. The education I received was truly valuable and worth every penny.

    Campus Life

The first thing I liked about the campus was its beautiful greenery. However, the worst part was ongoing construction that often disrupted activities and didn't finish on time. Overall, the campus was of good quality.

Doon University has a modern infrastructure for studying and personal growth. It has high- labs, a large library, and advanced rresearch building. There are also many sports and other activities for students can enjoy a balanced life. The hostels are good but little less in number and the living space is clean and hygienic.

    Academics

I'm pursuing an MBA in Human Resources to learn effective people management. Teaching is amazing with engaging methods. The updated curriculum includes digital HR and analytics, preparing us for job-ready skills through practical experience like internships

    Placements

At Doon University many students found good job placements but it varied by course. Some students received high salary packages on average the salaries offered were competitive. The college supported us well during the placement process, making it a smooth and positive experience.

    Value for Money

I feel that I am getting my money's worth because the education and resources provided are of high quality. I receive high-quality education, updated curriculum, supportive teachers, and practical learning opportunities like internships.

    Campus Life

Doon University’s campus is beautiful with modern facilities but it's a bit far from the city. Students can join cultural events, sports, and clubs. The students are diverse and enthusiastic, and the teachers and staff are supportive. It's safe with plans for ememergencies.

    Others

Overall Doon University features a scenic campus with modern facilities.

The college is having beautiful campus and all departments having their personal library and all building are very neat and clean. The environment of the college is good and has varieties of trees in the campus area . The living spaces of the college is clean and highly maintained.

    Academics

Academics depend on student and teacher interaction which is quite good in our case. Teachers also have different ways of teaching according to their own respective experiences which gives us a chance of exposure in the field.

    Placements

Heard that placement rates are not good. Only a handful of students gets placement which is lesser than promised by the university. Improvement is needed in that field as well. Rest we still haven't got any opportunity for placements.

Doon University has good infrastructure and is undergoing some renovations. Last year, they built a new management building, which has created many new opportunities for students by providing a separate space for the management department. The hostels at are very nice, and the surrounding area is great. The library is nice, and the laboratories have the proper equipments for PhD students separate building is there for research and study.

    Academics

I am completing my M.B.A from Doon University. The quality of teaching is okay, and the teachers are supportive. The curriculum is updated, but it needs improvement in certain areas, particularly with seminars and webinars. While the program does prepare us for jobs, I feel it is not competitive enough.

    Placements

The placement quality is okay, and the staff is supportive.Placements provide some opportunities, but they are limited and not with top companies. Improvement is needed in placements, but overall, it's a good eexperience

    Value for Money

The quality they provide is not worth the amount we are paying. We pay 70,000 per year, and it does not meet our expectations. Significant improvements are needed to make our return our investment worthy .

    Campus Life

More student activities and events are needed to enhance the students overall personality. The students and teachers are supportive, and the staff is helpful. The campus is in a safe location and can handle emergencies.

Doon university has a good infrastructure but it needs improvement. The university is making efforts to improve, but progress is slow. Classrooms, labs, libraries, and hostels need better maintenance and use. The living spaces should be cleaner, and the food needs to be more hygienic.

    Academics

I finished my B.Sc. Mathematics at Doon University. The curriculum was updated but didn't quite meet industry expectations. The teachers were good at handling things, but they lacked practical knowledge. The quality of teaching was okay. The courses need more recent developments to better prepare students for jobs.

    Placements

The job placements for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students at Doon University were poor because their courses didn't match industry needs. There were no placements for them. However, the Language and Management departments had good placements and support.

    Value for Money

My university fees was per semester, with no extra costs during the year. It's affordable for many students, and there are quotas for some. I think it's worth the money because the fees are low, and the education is good, especially considering how affordable is.

    Campus Life

My college campus has good and not-so-good thingsIt has large grounds and modern facilities like labs and libraries, but some older buildings need better upkeep. Students can join sports, clubs, and cultural events. The teachers are helpful, though some staff could be more responsive. The location is convenient with nearby facilities, but safety measures could be improved a bit more.

    Others

Being at the university has been an amazing learning experience, and I've gained a lot from it.
