Doon University infrastructure is better and bigger than any other State University.Some new buildings are under construction.Last year new 3 storey theatre sized auditorium was built.It's campus has all the basic facilities and equipment a student require.Classrooms are really big ,well-planned and designed.Each class is equipped with smartboards and projectors.Some building are also equipped with elevators.Labs are a bit small compared to regular classes.One of the best thing of this university is it's library plus its ready room.Students love to study in the ready room during exams which is equipped with wifi and charging portals.The water purifiers works perfectly fine during summers providing cool water.Washrooms are also well maintained.Each floor has nearly 8 washrooms.The only disappointing thing is these huge buildings are quite empty with huge ceilings pigeons to be seen everywhere.Overall is has one of the most beautiful campus in Dehradun with luscious green grass ,trees and loving stray dogs to be seen everywhere.(but just be a bit careful of monkeys,they tend to steal students belongings)

I was studying BSc maths hons because I had a certain interest in maths compared to other subjects.Ths quality of teaching is quite moderate.Some subjects and professors are quite nice ,some others are "unbothered researchers".I think the teaching is very theoretical where it should be a bit practical.It evaluates students on the basis of their memorising skills rather than practical skills Curriculum is still out dated.

Language department has really high placements by Indian and foreign companies.Science department students are mainly taught how to become a researcher.Highest package would be around 13-14 lpa(Language department).

My entire 3 yr bsc math hons cost around 1 lpa which is a great value for money.Yeah I feel it was worth it.

I enjoyed roaming around the campus as it is very huge.it has the facility to play each and every sport.Students who have a thing for extra curricular activities can join various clubs like theatre, dance ,music, etc.It has 2 canteens when you can chat with friends and enjoy snacks and drinks.There is a diversity of students and teachers.Its location is in the foothills of Shivalik range( mothorwala dehradun )with scenic beauty.The campus is very safe and friendly with tight security.It has strict hostel hours and checking during evening. Yes it can handle emergencies.

If a student is interested in research or who aspires to do PhD in future,this college is for you.If a student wants to enjoy college life this one is good for bunking and enjoying other activities.You can experience rich culture and art of Uttarakhand in university fests as it is a state university.

The university has a central library with only limited books and journals related to our subjects. Hostels had gym but with only few equipment. The food quality of girls hostel is better than boys hostel. The buildings are under construction and renovation.

Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable but sometimes it is difficult to understand what they are teaching.The university is good for ones who wanted to do higher studies or research.

In the course of B.Sc (Hons), there are no placements for students at the university neither they have any internship programs . University is good for the one's who wants to do something in field of research but for others who wants placement they have to try by themselves.

The university is worth the money when students want to involve themselves in extra curricular activities as there are lot of activities inside and outside the campus but for those who wants self growth in terms of education university is not at all worth it.

The university is surrounded by beautiful trees, creating a beautiful atmosphere.Students can showcase their talents through participation in different clubs, and various departmental fests offer additional opportunities for engagement. Additionally, the college provides NCC for girls, enhancing the overall extracurricular eexperience

It was not as what I expected my college life to be. I thought I will learn some knowledge but it was opposite of what I thought to be.

The college is putting effort into maintaining its buildings, but progress is slow. There are issues with the WiFi connection and the cafeteria isn't up to par. However, the girls' hostel has seen significant improvements. While the classrooms are decent, they lack modern facilities. I think the university will continue to improve in the coming years

At DU, the teaching isn't up to the mark.Teachers are having a hard time finishing the syllabus on time because there aren't enough of them, and the way they teach isn't very effective.They really need better-trained teachers who can make learning more interesting for students. Right now, it feels like they're only teaching theory without showing how it works in real life

There was no placements we haven't heard any placement in school of physical science at the time when we were there. Though university provides good placements for language and MBA students.The college is highly recommended for one who wants to pay less fees in these two fields.

The course I did cost me 17000 .But I feel pity paying 17k for the cost because the level of knowledge they gave us not at all good. University is good for one's who wants to have fun and don't want to attend classes.

The students campus life is beautiful. There are beautiful places in the campus to hang out with the friends.But the college is located at one end where no vehicles run and students who don't have personal vehicle faces a lot of problems.

I think in the upcoming years doon university will be developed a lot. But right know it is an average college .

The infrastructure of the college is well structured as the sports facilty is nearby my lecture hall and it is viable for all people the building designs are also good very spacious and neat college also provide with lift facilities.

The teachers are good the come from very good study background but they dont give much attention to the students mostly they only teach for the sake of teaching no emotions nothing is involved and they tend to give less marks to average students.

University placement cell is not so much good only the language department has some good placements but others department dont give much tension on the placements as most of the courses provided are non proffesional course.

As a government college it prvide good courses in reasonable fees so everyone can afford it but there is an entrance which has to be cracked to get a seat as there are only 40 seats per course every year.

Campus life is very good in doon university close to various tourist destination and in the heart of the valley dehradun people does enjoy more than study as the scenery from there is just phenomenal all the peers are from dehradun and nearby places so it gets easy to feel connected.

Between 2020 and 2023, not much happened in terms of building stuff except for a new research building in 2023. But the old buildings, which are really old and full of pigeons, didn't get any fixes during this time.The campus only has a smallcafeteria with limited seating options .The campus only has a small library with a limited selection of books.

The campus faces a shortage of faculty members, resulting in frequent changes every semester. Moreover, the teaching primarily focuses on theoretical concepts, lacking practical application. Despite mentioning practical sessions, they are rarely executed, merely serving as a formality.

The campus has no record of placements, except for the language department. There are no organized placement drives, and opportunities for personal growth .Moreover no extra sessions are being conducted for the development of student.

The quality of education does not justify the tuition fee of 17k per semester. The level of instruction is comparable to that of government college students, with inadequate class structures and an inconsistent timetable.

The campus experience was somewhat enjoyable, thanks to the small shaded areas beneath trees where students could relax during the summer months. The hostels was not at all good most often strikes happen due to low quality food given to students.

The campus is good only for those who wants to have fun in college but for the ones who have come for overall development it is not at all worthy.

The infrastructure at DU Dehradun is currently under construction and is expected to be completed soon. However, there is currently no proper WiFi available but the new auditorium built is the best part of the university.Additionaly there is only one small cafeteria and offers limited food options.

Yes, Doon University provides good facillities to students whether it is library or labs or auditorium . The college has wi-fi facillities, The classrooms has smart tv's. iIn some classrooms seats are not so good but mostly seating arrangement is fine. The living facillities are absolutely clean and campus is so beautiful. I can say that Doon University has the most beautiful campus in Dehradoon. The Hostel food is average but they are improving the quality of the food.

I have studied B.com Honours because I wanted to do charted Accountancy. The quality of teaching in my department was average ( neither too good nor too bad). The faculty is helpful. Some teachers are really good but some of them are very lazy. There was no strictness in my department. Yes, the curriculum is updated

The quality of placement is not so good. Only the students of Language department have good chance of getting placed. Rest of the departments don't guarantee you placement. i think only 30-40% students got placed and the highest package would be 6 lpa. The average salary offered was 20k per month. There were not much opportunities for placement though the process was easy.

Because it is a govt. college so the fees is less. I spent 40k per year which is good. Yes, the money will be worth it if the students grab the opportunities provided by college.

The best part about the campus is that it is very pretty and beautiful. You can take walks and chill around. There is basketball court, volleyball court etc which is good. The college is safe. The location is average if you don't own a private vehicle like a scooty because you have to walk for 1 km to catch a public transport which can be tiring but if you have a vehicle then the location is perfect and it can handle emergency.

The college is average but if you have better options then go for those options. The worst part is that this college doesn't guarantee placements

College Infrastructure is really, very god and pleasant .As a semi government university it's infrastructure is quite friendly. I used to stay in hostel infrastructure wise room were small ,mess food was not that bad. College doesn't have proper canteen too.

Academically, it's okay specially physics department we didn't get good faculty in my three years time period. There was lack of management academically. Teaching style was also not that friendly it was just ok.

As a hons course there was not placement but research opportunities were quite good. Some of my seniors got quite good opportunities in research programs as well as opportunity to work under skilled professors.

Campus life is amazing that was most important part ,I loved about campus.

The college has no fest and rhe infrastructure and facilities are not so good. They need to enhance these things. The laboratory has to have good apparatus and classes has to have wifi and smart boards.

The chemistry department has to enhance the quality of education. The session has to be there for updating the students. The laboratory need to have good apparatus and rhe teacher has to maintain the labs.

There is no placement for bsc. The placement has to be there and the placement cell should be enhanced and upgraded. The college must take the initiative for the placement. The placement must be there.

Nice infrastructure they have made . It's is really looks good . The environment around the college is really lovely . I really love these colleges . The classes are really good . They have maintained the classes well .

Teachers are good and very talented in there subjects . They come to the classes give lectures and provide us with the notes an dif any students have any kind of issues they directly help us with the confusion .

It is good to say that these colleges have provided very good placements to it's students . I am in b.com final year's and I got intership of around twelve thousand plus extra stipend . These were really a good college .

I will totally say yes these colours is truly value for money . The kind of education at these cost they provide is really a appreciating work and I am also planning to do my further future studies from here .
