Whereas mechanical branch has a tough competition and the scope for job opportunities are less compared to ECE because the number of students studying the course every year is high.

ECE is a course which presently have great scope and in the upcoming years many countries will be needing such professionals and with less competition in the field you could opt up the branch only of you have intrest in the field.

As ECE students would be getting lots of job opportunities in the future as compared to mechanical students.

Finally when compared with IIIT Kancheepuram and IIIT Naya Raipur, I would recommend you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram as the college has a great record of placements in the past years for students into famous companies with good salary packages.

As per your question. I'll tell about the best for future. I think VIT Vellore is better than IIIT Naya Raipur. I'm telling about both Colleges.

VIT Vellore:-

VIT Vellore has very high reputation among the Engineering collages across India. They show 100% placements. The campus is very beautiful, encouraging, and full of energy. Very Good Alumni support since it is very old. The Exposure you get is priceless. Even if you are in the Round 1 of the counseling they charge you very high, and let’s not talk if you are in the 2nd or 3rd round of counseling. The placements they show have very less packages usually through Mass Recruiters, and they ask you to leave the job after a year or so. And then you are left with the student loan of like 16 Lac and you are earning about 4 LPA.

IIIT Naya Raipur:-

IIIT-NR have the best in academic Curriculum along with highly experienced faculty. It comes with a very valuable IIIT Tag. IIIT Naya Raipur has the world class facilities. It has less number of student and it focus mainly towards the computer science domain hence every student is given ample opportunity to speak up and express himself. The administration is very helpful for anyone with any kind of problem. Being a IIIT it has some very good campus ethics like smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited and the students are very well disciplined, this makes up very good environment for research works. The Cost of living and also the academic expenditure is very low and also there are many scholarships to keep up with the Tight Budget. There are uncertainty in the placements of IIIT NR. It is a very new institution and alumni support is almost zero.

All are Good. IN CVR College, Placements are not Good but studies and academic and all things are good. IIIT Naya Raipur offers B.tech in data Science and artificial intelligence. The institute follows a fractal academics means ”Skill first, then theory with practical”. The newly introduced DSAI branch has 60 seats.The students are exposed to projects from first semester itself in order to ensure real life applications of the theory taught in classes .The curriculum of B.tech in DSAI seems a bit advanced to other similar institutes. I think AI and DATA SCIENCE in IIIT NAYA RAIPUR is better than CVR colleges for CSE.

If you are seeking some budget-friendly quality education then IIIT Naya Raipur it is, Here student are offered scholarship from State government to IIIT Naya Raipur Students only, All the students are given 100 % tuition fee waiver in the first year, (All students are given this waiver ) so in the first year itself you are 90k off,

and then in the consecutive years, based on the performance 50% Students get Full Tuition fee waiver,

then next year 33% Students get Full Tuition fee waiver,

then 25 % of students are given the Full Tuition fee waiver on the tuition fees,

There is another scholarship offered from the State government to all ST/SC college students of Chhattisgarh State, it is applicable to all the colleges in Chhattisgarh, all the ST/SC candidates are given the 100% tuition fees and also some more stipend kind of amount like 14k for a year.

Also, you can check with your bank they generally give out student loans to the students of elite institutions at a lower interest rate and fewer collaterals.

The academics in NIT Agartala, I'm totally unsure of. As to what I found out when I was researching about colleges for my own purpose, north eastern colleges are a little bit neglected. That's what I read from sources. And even take into consideration the commute to NIT Agartala. That's all I have got to say about the college as I don't have any exposure to it.

Coming to the branch, which is the most important thing than the college brand tag, choose it in accordance with your liking only. Even civil engineering is good when you do justice to it. Don't take CSE because you find a few handful of guys getting a crore package. Branch defines your future rather than the college tag, choose it wisely.

And finally, IIIT NR. One word, Great. The motivation, the workshops and the events make your life fun. Yes, the campus is new and there is a lot to develop as well. And the best thing is, exponential advancement. For instance, they have made an MoU with a Malaysian technology giant, Magic. Such things will be witnessed in even greater pace in the future. And IIITs are the best place to pursue your CSE interest rather than in an NIT as the syllabus is far more advanced. Their seniors are doing interns at prestigious foreign universities in their second year itself.

At IIT Jodhpur, you'll end up in bunch of top minds of country because all of them (mechanical ones) secured an AIR of around 4000 in toughest exam of the country.

This would offer you more chance to prosper due to competition there.

Faculty, coding culture and placement is excellent.

Nirf ranking :75

Campus life is bad

Fee of this institute is very high compare than nit agartala and no fee waiver for sc/st student.

Nit agartala

Faculty, coding culture and placement is good.

Nirf ranking: 42

Campus life is excellent

Fee is not high compare than iiit guwahati and full tuition fee waiver for sc /st student.

Both the institutes are pretty new. Placements of CSE of IIIT Naya Raipur are more or less comaparable to placements of Mechanical and Electrical Departments of Newer IITs.

Secondly, I believe if you are getting Mechanical, you shouldnt let go of the IIT Tag. Choose IIT jodhpur Mechanical over IIIT Naya Raipur.

If the choice was between institutes like IIT jodhpur and IIIT Allahabad or NIT Trichy, then maybe decision could be taken otherwise.

One of the best things in IIT Jodhpur is the newly developed infrastructure and Air Conditioned Hostels. Rajasthan being somewhat near to Industrial Districts in Delhi, NCR, Gujrat, Punjab and Haryana further ensure good placements in core branches.As far as Mechanical is concerned Tata Motors, Hero Motocorp,Maruti Suzuki are regular recruiters.

Of course its your choice, if you want to study CSE, you might always choose IIIT Naya Raipur or some other new IIIT over an IIT ir NIT,but decide wisely. At the end its your career and the branch you choose, CSE or Mechanical should take you into confidence since Day 1.

Hello Manideepak917 , Both IIITs are best but if we choose one then IIIT lucknow is one of the best in placement, infrastructure, facilities and all so I suggest you to go for IIIT lucknow for CSE.
