Around 60 students were offered campus placements, and approximately 21 were placed. The highest package that was offered was 22 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA. In my course, B.Tech, and branch, IT, around 83-85% of students do get placed, with the average package around 16-17 LPA, the highest going to nearly 70-80 LPA, and the lowest package going for nearly 3-4 LPA. In IT, many big tech MNCs recruit from NIT Raipur, namely Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Many Indian companies hire students as well. As for internships, mostly students try to get internships off-campus, as there are not many companies offering on-campus internships, and the competition is quite high.
