Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the Master’s degree in Agricultural Business Management/ Agricultural Marketing/ Business Management with specialization in Agriculture/ Fisheries/ Forestry/Rural Business Management with research project report in partial fulfillment of the programme in the concerned discipline under ICAR-AU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture Faculty) with an OGPA of 6.50/10 (65% marks).

Admission Details

The basis of admission shall be merit of the respective subject of the candidate plus weight-age of participation in games/sports, NCC, NSS, Scouting, Co-curricular Activities.
