Now the first thing you can do is that check the cutoffs of the college and preparation can be done keeping that in mind so that your aim will be high and will help you in securing admission and one thing more you should not relay only one college you should keep more options as well so that getting in any of one option is high.
Thank you..
Hello,
You haven't mentioned if you are enquiring about Under Graduate or Post Graduate course. Based on the information available in your profile we consider that you are seeking admission to Under Graduate course. Last year a candidate with rank 4300 belonging to General category (Home state quota) secured admission to Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. As you haven't mentioned your category we assume that you belong to general category. Considering the cut off you will have decent chances of getting seat in HNLU in Under Graduate course if you secure rank (AIR) 3000. But the cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Dear Samar,
Congratulations you have selected for the HPNLU in the first round. As you are West Bengal domicile and SC your rank in that list will be define whether you are eligible for WBNUJS or not. But there are chances that you might get selected.
Best of Luck for your future.
Hello,
If you have to choose in between these two then you must go for HNLU Raipur.
As the institute is established by the government of India.
It is a public law school located in Jaipur. It is approved by the university grants commission and also a member of the association of India universities.
It is ranked 10th by CLAT among all the NLUs and it has also ranked 12th among law schools in India.
Infrastructure, faculty, academics, and placement is good at HNLU.
You can choose it as your law college.
But in the end, the choice is completely yours.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!
Hello Candidate!!
As you mentioned about your rank in CLAT and that is 7790. First of all Congratulations for your achievement.
You have performed well in the exam but if you are a SC or ST candidate then only you will be able to get the seat in HNLU, Raipur.
As of State Quota also, if you lie in General Category then also there is no chance for it.
If you are a female candidate, then also you can get a seat in that through your CLAT Rank.
As looking previous years cut offs, Might be if there is some flexibility in the rankings then might you can get but not in the General Category or OBC.
You only need little much more marks to get under rank 4500, then you have sure chances to get admission.
But instead of institution-specific, you can take other colleges too and in the different streams.
There are lot of other colleges in which you are eligible and they provide better education as well as have better exposure too. So, you can take a seat in that also.
I am providing you the link through which you can get access of all the details regarding cut offs and streams also:
Hope that my answer helped you!!
Good Luck And Best Wishes for Future!!
Thank You
