It is a relatively new college, hence there are low placements.

Newly, apprenticeships were furnished by the university. Internships from top firms like Google and Adobe happened and the biggest income package was around INR 30 LPA and the normal package was INR 6-7 LPA.

The university is operating under SVNIT. The hostel is similar to SVNIT. Infrastructure and food are present.

The lesson curriculum is evolved. The faculty is new but is good, helpful, and positive.

Overall, if you ask me it will be a better choice than NIT Surat.

At present if you consider the official website of iiit surat there is no mention of any type of fee waiver for any category students and you will have to pay full fee whichever is applicable without any concession but yes you may apply for scholarships by your respective state governments also there are education loan facilities for such premier institutes so you may take that advantage as well also you may contact the administration regarding this they will help you better

Dear applicant IIIT Surat Campus is yet to develop more in future, most of the activities are conducted by SVNIT regarding this campus so it's better to rely on Manipal Institute of Technology as because this Institute may be costly but it offers extremely good facilities, modified classrooms, placements with salary package of 6-9 LPA and as high as 20 LPA too. You will get immense support from the Faculties regarding project, research papers and Academic activities.

The course Computer Science Engineering along with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is nicely taught in this campus following updated curriculum.

Yes, there are fee waiver in the iiit surat . For sc/st students there is a full 100% tuition fee waiver . On the basis of family income there is also tuition fee waiver scheme.

For family income whose income is below 1L full tuition fee is waived off

For family income who income is between 1L and 5L then 2/3rd of the tuition fee is waived off.

Other than this there are various scholarships schemes provided by the government for sc/st and OBC category students. For general category there is not much scholarships schemes.

IIT kota- CSE branch is a wonderful college and it has a overall student rating of 3.6/5 and has some great positive reviews by its students.

The college is absolutely great in terms of faculty and infrastructure as it’s very well maintained and looked after for providing students with the best facilities in terms of education and good environment.

Almost 85% of students get placed & recently a student from CSE branch was placed with a highest package salary of 43 lakhs per annum and on average student gets placed with a package salary of 10-15 lakhs per annum.

Top companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc take part in the placement cell of the college.

IIT- Surat has a wonderful college rating of 4.1/5 and has some excellent reviews by its students for the college.

This college has maintained it’s infrastructurual environment with all the amenities and provides students with highly qualified lecturers who provides them with qualitative and best of their abilities to enhance the skills and knowledge of students.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat was established in the year 2017.  The institute is recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and has approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Still i will give you some insight based on the reviews and rank of the colleges.

IIIT surat has a higher JEE mains cut off than IIIT Pune. Also the fees of IIIT surat is very less than IIIT pune. There is a difference of around 2-2.5lakhs. The reviews of IIIT surat are also much better than IIIT pune. It is known to have very good faculty, infrastructure and facilities. The placement facilities are also good. Every year students are placed at good packages.

The only drawback at IIIT surat is that there is no hostel.
